Like I said on the other thread, this fills me with hope and makes me love Fr. Ripperger even more. Fr. Ripperger is a good and holy priest, and this test of his obedience and humility will only bring him closer to God and strengthen God's grace within him. It will make his mission all the more powerful!
I read up a bit on this bishop. Didn’t like what I read. Did Fr Ripperger make the ‘mistake’ of reminding people that sodomy is a grave sin?
Matthew 10:16 “Behold, I send you forth as sheep in the midst of wolves. Be ye therefore wise as serpents and harmless as doves. Matthew 10:23:"When you are persecuted in one place, flee to another. Truly I tell you, you will not finish going through the towns of Israel before the Son of Man comes." We can see now that we have two Churches fully in place. The False Synodal Church of Satan/Rome and the true Catholic Church founded by Christ. The False Church, the Ape of the Church attacking the True Catholic Church with great ferocity at every chance they get. Father Ripperger could simply quietly slip away to another Diocese which is run by an actual real Catholic Bishop and carry on from there. I know it would be a pain for him and his fellow exorcists but it would be a great choice. I hope all opens the eyes of anyone who still thinks everything is fine in the Church.
I was listening to some Father Chad Ripperger's talks this morning and what can I say? They are all wonderful. Old school totally Catholic. I console myself I can still listen to these already recorded ones. If I were a priest and a bad Bishop silenced me I would take it as a great compliment. A sign I was doing and saying the right things.
I was thinking along the same lines. His cancellation gives his voice more credit. His work is out there and the church can't cancel it.
Perhaps the Vatican ordered the bishop to silence Fr. RIpperger, but they didn't want to take the blame.
I think this has been a long time coming. His interviews with Sean Ryan brought a substantial number of men back to the Church--many are former Seals or Special Forces. His interviews invariably bring conversions. He is a modern Bishop Sheen. The "powers that be" cant afford a revival of faith. Or a clear picture of true Catholic teaching. I hope and pray this is simply a "time out" and he will return to public teaching through conferences and interviews but who knows. We must pray for him and his bishop.
Fr. Ripperger also shed light on satanists in church authority bent on destroying the church from within. At least, this is what he claims the demons during exorcisms were telling him. Which falls in line with Fr. Malachi Martin. It confuses me as to why the demons expose this? I have no doubt the demons told this to Fr. Ripperger. I wonder if it is because they know that with great power comes great responsibility. If it is being bent towards evil it is only a matter of time before they destroy themselves. Regardless of what the demons admit or not. So demons chirp knowing full well what is going to be the eventual outcome.
Can demons lie in the face of proper exorcism? We know that some of the demons Our Lord cast out identified Him as ‘The Son of God’.
Additionally, I’ve discovered today that Bishop Beckman of Knoxville has prohibited the saying of the Prayer of St Michael after Mass. This was a tradition revived by his predecessor, apparently. Am I paranoid, or are the progressives systematically moving in lockstep?
Fr. Ripperger said they lie all the time. However, when he demands the truth in Jesus name I believe they cannot. I doubt Fr. Ripperger would have relayed information that could be a lie. But I would like to see more exorcists to come forward and confirm this. However, I can understand why they wouldn't. I agree that the progressives have taken hold. This is the catholic spring talked about years ago by HRC and John Podesta in leaked emails in 2016. I have no doubt the church has long been infiltrated by those who wish to use her to their ends. We know the CIA was targeting the church in the 60s and I doubt it stopped since.
I would say that obedience to those given by God to authority is one of the great signs of true holiness and being authentically Catholic . Most Catholics intuitively understand this. Obedience event the person in charge is even a bad actor. Father Ripperger and his fellow priests in his little Order of Exorcists have passed this huge test like gold through a furnace with flying colours. Bless them all such an inspiration. For myself I intend to kind of balance things by going back and once again listen to many of his talks over again. I suspect many millions of Catholics all over the World will do the exact same thing again. All this looks like a failure for the good against the bad. But on the contrary I see it as a huge triumph of good against evil.
It would be good however if Archbishop Golka explains why he did this. What he thinks Father Ripperger did wrong. That is the very least that can be done in justice.
In these times his silence is golden. It is a sign of fasting and prayer … most of our Carmelite retreats are silent. Jesus went to the desert for 4o days to fast and pray. Signs of the times!
The ban comes at a time when he had also stated that Christians are God’s chosen people and that only those who accept Christ possess the fullness of truth. Along with everything else, he will receive a crown of glory in proportion to the cross he bears and the suffering he endures. God’s greatest virtue is humility. In the end, this brings him honor, because Christ Himself remained silent, was slapped, and was even asked how He dared to speak to the high priest. We learned nothing new from Father Ripperger; rather, in these challenging times, he clearly articulated the teachings and positions of the Catholic Church and reminded us of the spiritual battle that many people today believe to be fictional—even some Christians. He used podcasts to do so, and I even think it is a good thing that he has been taken down, because the glory of this world often leads people astray. At least now we know that everything he said was correct, because Christians are always persecuted for the sake of righteousness. Christ Himself was persecuted as well. So we are all called to walk the same path, and there is no greater honor than that.
There is one thing about all this I have been thinking about all this although I am not sure if it fits in. There are a huge amount of videos about exorcisms and exorcists these days. I am not altogether sure how healthy this all is. It seems to lack balance. Also exorcists conducting long conversations with demons and recounting them on utube maybe is not a good idea. I am not sure if this ties into Father Ripperger, but it is just a thought. To look at the other side of things. To say that demons tell lies is simply the truth. So we don't really want to be talking to them unless we really have to. Just a thought.
He called out sin. I'm sure the Bishop was told to quash Father Ripperger. He spoke of certain sins that are rampant right now. He opened alot of eyes because they honestly don't teach this stuff at most Catholic schools or in homilies at Mass anymore. Even when he would just speak on Catholic do's and don'ts. His sermons are wonderful..I've seen a few on youtube. To know the truth is better than being in the dark. Prayers for him.
