You must also realise that, although only Americans have the right to vote in American elections, the international dominance of the United States means that everyone else in the world is affected to varying degrees. It could still happen that the Trump administration recommences the war in the Persian Gulf, with totally unpredictable, but potentially catastrophic, consequences. Therefore, we are prone to getting a little antsy. No matter how evil the Democrats are, we outside the US are not as likely to be directly harmed. That is the reality for everyone outside the US. For Americans, I think they need a third way, as a matter of extreme urgency.
Perhaps a good thing. Masks are slipping. This very influential Jewess, Laura Loomer, a favourite of Donal Trump, has come out with a statement mocking Jesus Christ. She accused His followers of calling Him King and ‘disparaging Jews and Israel’ and implied this was punished by the elections being lost. Even the Christian Zionists might wake up in the face of this evil arrogance and stupidity. At least Vance has had the courage to bring up the Israel issue in the wake of defeat. America First, Israel Out!!
And yet the Democrats are more likely to directly and indirectly corrupt the morals of others all over the world, pushing abortion, contraception, and homosexuality in exchange for supposed aid. I'd rather die because of a war that got out of hand than have souls all over the world be corrupted and lost.
I said ‘directly’. Corruption needs indirect methods, people can’t be bombed into sodomy or abortion. It takes time and propaganda. Now, we look forward to the US people either rejecting all these people or ejecting Israel or preferably both. Otherwise, the rest of us are helpless and at least a reduced prospect of WWIII gives us breathing space, while you set your affairs in order. Americans have the 2nd Amendment. That was gifted to you all by wise and moral statesmen. Now seems to be the moment that it is called for. The US is never going to vote its way out of this diabolical and treasonous bind. Unlike the disarmed Europeans, you can take control of your country by force-of-arms. It would be a Holy War.
The U.S. is not truly as in control of the world as you seem to think it is. The very ideas that set off the American Revolution came from Europe, in particular from France. The freemasons, which infiltrated the Church and nearly all countries of the world, began in Europe and is headquartered there. Whichever country seems to have the power at whatever moment in history is chosen by them (as far as is permitted by God, of course), to achieve their purposes. If Americans were to take up arms and overthrow our own government, you can bet they will not only use the chaos to bring in more evil, but they will also choose a new power. Every time they regroup and install new power, it's worse than before. Can't you see that this is a spiritual, world-wide battle? You can't pick one or two countries, label them enemy no. 1, and blame them for all the evils of the world. The best we can do is work on our own souls and saving the souls of those around us.
Unfortunately, the US is so dominant, financially, economically, culturally and militarily that it cannot avoid having a disproportionate effect on the world. This effect can be benign or neutral or malign. It was certainly benign in the days of Ronald Reagan. Although, even in those halcyon days Reagan could not prevent the toxic liberalism that still oozed from much US culture (well-matched by what was oozing out of European cultural centres, as well, at the time). Unfortunately, recent US administrations have not been benign, with the now bemusing exception of the first Trump presidency, when good things were done (Supreme Court appointments) and bad things not done (no new wars). Not all insurrections are revolutionary. They can be reactionary. They might not succeed, usually don’t, but it is best that they would. Examples are the Irish revolt in 1916, which eventually succeeded in liberating 26 out of 32 Irish counties from British occupation. This ended well, with a moral, Catholic republic. The White Russians failed to over-turn the Bolsheviks. Had they won, how could they have been worse? Indeed, they would have been far better. General Franco’s revolt against the Spanish communists was successful and how much more benign than the alternative? Further back, look at the Spanish Reconquisto, a stunning success, or the revolt in the Vendee against the French Revolution, sadly a tragic failure. Such revolts were generally campaigns by moral, Christian people and unlike antinomian revolutions by the likes of the Jacobins and the Bolsheviks, were, when successful, restorative of a just order. I would expect much the same from an insurrection by the ordinary, currently disenfranchised American people. I cannot see any prospect, whatsoever, of success through democratic voting. For a brief window. Trump seemed to offer a possibility of doing this, but in his second term, for whatever reason, many of his policies seemed to become inverted. He may have been bought, blackmailed or threatened, but he is finishing up the antithesis of what he once promised to be. An epic tragedy.
He is also on the record as being only one of two (the other being Tulsie Gabbard), in the Trump cabinet, who opposed the attack on Iran. He has been criticised in some quarters for remaining on in power, but by doing so it kept one sane voice in a position of influence. He has also said that the power and influence of Israel was also a major factor in turning away Republican voters. That is a very controversial statement.
Let's call a spade a spade. For better or worse, no guesses what I think, America has been an utter disaster. Note, I am not talking about the American man in the street here. The American so-called conservative Republican right is talking about the advance of communism as if their ideas were somehow at odds with it in anything other than economic theory and policy. Neoliberalism embraces all the central tenets of communism at heart. We do not need to spell this out on this forum. Liberalism and communism ultimately converge at their core. Rejection of God is the direct cause of all that ultimately follows on the geo political and spiritual plane.
This is a fascinating and very interesting thread. Thanks to everyone posting. And all done with such respect. I am seeing many differing perspectives. God bless you all.
Augusto del Noce forecast it all decades ago. In fact, he predicted that social democracy/liberalism would become even worse than communism. And he was not a fan of communism. I think, twisted as they were, some communists might have had good intentions. Our typical modern politician will just get what he wants for himself, no matter the cost to everyone else.
God have mercy. On us and the world and Iran. Fr Chris Alar gave a very " tough love" sermon yesterday about where we are right now. I think we are in the days of Noah and its starting to sprinkle. I hope i am wrong. The Blessed Mother told Father Gobbi the only safe place was in her Immaculate Heart. The Ark of the New Covenant.
