I am under spiritual attack right now. I cannot even speak a kind word or have a kind thought! Help! Please pray for me! marti
Prayers to St Michael ,Marti. Remember temptation is never a sin. It is the giving into it is the sin. The two are not the same. In either case never loose your peace or your trust.
The fact that you recognise that you can't say a kind word, etc is a grace in itself. As Padraig says, keep your peace and remember: when you feel you are drowning, remember, your LIFEGUARD walks on water.
I woke up the same way, mothersuperior. Pray, pray, pray and let's stick together, folks. Lift your head up and look around at what is going on in the world right now, so much turmoil, so much evil, just so much . . .
Beloved Father, purify me with Your Son's Blood, Father, purify Me with your Son's Body, Beloved Father, hold away the evil spirit that now tempts me, amen; Will pray for you & others on the forum in need tonight...
I will send my guardian angel to assist you...through the most sorrowful tears of Mary...have mercy on you and protect you.
Prayers going up. In the Name of Jesus I bind any spirit here that is not of the Holy Spirit and send you to the foot of the Cross to be Judged by Our Lord. Precious Blood, wash over me, Precious Blood, wash over me. Protect me from the wickedness and snares of the devil. Amen.
Thank you all soooo much! What great friends you are. I woke up incredibly negative and fused my will with our Lords, and because of some trouble yesterday, it just poured into today. The fam is walking on eggs...uggg. God forgive me. I even ran to the store and bought Vit. D, because I am out and I take 20,000 mg. a day and have been out for 3 days. So....ol red legs is messing with my head. I've been crying all day and my poor husband just got back from a two week trip last night and he probably wants to leave again now!!! booo-hooo! uggg. I should just go back to bed and stay out of everyone's hair, but I have to much work to do. I appreciate the prayer and the time you took to write. Back at you all! Bless you!
In my thoughts and prayers too. I am reading Elizabeth Kindelmann's diary. Today I read where she too struggled with having no thought of God or Mary and a very dark moment. Elizabeth wrote this............."Now since the Lord Jesus deprived me of both His words and His presence, a great dryness was consuming my soul. As I knelt speechless, I remembered the Lord's words: "One Our Father or one Hail Mary prayed in the midst of spiritual dryness is much more frutiful than exuberant prayers of someone who abounds in spiritual favors".
