:)Ah well it is Christ's Church I am sure He can look after it, without any help from me.

But they never condemned the efforts of the church to truly care for and tend the flock in new ways. I come from a farming community and they are always finding better ways to look after the animals and the land. Just so the Church with the faithful.

Once elected in 2013, Pope Francis quickly chose to rehabilitate Cardinal Kasper, whose theories on admitting the divorced and remarried to Holy Eucharist were condemned and suppressed by Cardinal Ratzinger twenty years ago. Pope Francis praised Cardinal Kasper's book on "mercy" in his very first Sunday Angelus, and he subsequently appointed Cardinal Kasper to deliver the inaugural address at the consistory early in 2014, praised his "serene theology" following the debacle, and has permitted Kasper to trot the globe, claiming he speaks for the Pope on the subject. (Only recently has Kasper walked back his claim to full papal approbation for his Synod agenda.)

Cardinal Bergoglio instituted a similar agenda in Argentina:

Shortly before the synod, for example, there appeared in Italian bookstores a report on the pastoral activity set up by then-cardinal Jorge Mario Bergoglio on the outskirts of Buenos Aires:

    P. De Robertis, “Le pecore di Bergoglio. Le periferie di Buenos Aires svelano chi è Francesco”, Editrice Missionaria Italiana, Bologna, 2014.

From this one learns that most couples, on the order of 80-85 percent, are not married but simply cohabit, while among spouses “the majority of marriages are invalid, because the people marry when they are immature”, but then don’t even try to get a declaration of nullity from the diocesan tribunals.

It is the “curas villeros,” the priests Bergoglio sent to the outskirts, who provide this information and proudly state that they give everyone communion no matter what, “without raising barricades.”

Seeming to confirm this agenda, a story made its way around the mainstream media in March 2015 about Oscar Crespo, Pope Francis' long-time friend from Buenos Aires. According to the media reports,

A childhood friend of Pope Francis has claimed that he intends to overturn the centuries-old ban on Catholic priests from getting married and that he told a divorcee 'living in sin' that she could receive Holy Communion.
...The friend also claimed the Argentinian-born pope also vowed to reform another Catholic rule which bars divorced people in new relationships from taking the Holy Communion, MailOnline can reveal.

According to Oscar Crespo, Pope Francis said that changing the Catholic law which bars civil divorcees from taking a full part in church life is the 'number one priority' of his papacy.

Cardinal Carlo Maria Martini, viewed by some as an "anti-pope" during the reign of Pope John Paul II because of his outsized influence and public dissent from Pope John Paul II, was also a champion of this agenda:

[Cardinal Martini] was open-minded toward homosexuality, believed that divorced and remarried Catholics should be allowed to receive full sacraments, and said he understood ”even if he did not support” abortion.

This is actually an understatement. Cardinal Martini was not merely “open” toward homosexuality, he approved civil unions for same-sex couples. He often praised the family and Christian love, yes, but did so in the context of assailing Humanae Vitae , and advocating the use of condoms to fight AIDS. He challenged the Church’s position on bioethics.

Pope Francis has praised Cardinal Martini as a father of the Church for our age. He has personally placed disciples of Cardinal Martini in key posts in the Synod, including Archbishop Bruno Forte, who as special secretary of the Synod introduced the controversial (i.e., heretical) paragraphs in the interim relatio, and Cardinal Baldiserri, who as general secretary, allegedly stole the "Five Cardinals" book defending the traditional Church teachings from the mailboxes of the Synod Fathers and shamelessly manipulated the Synod.

In the 2005 conclave, Cardinal Martini himself was too old to be elected, so his progressive camp coalesced around Cardinal Bergoglio as the man to carry forward Cardinal Martini's agenda.

Cardinal Bergoglio came in second to Cardinal Ratzinger in 2005.

    He won in 2013.

    Pretty damning evidence Brian .
Can anyone refute what has been put forward here?
If people cant , they should stop complaining about criticism of the Holy Father.

Allegations and gossip, rumour and inuendo, propanda and vested media interests, rather than hard evidence. Brian K could be anyone. Pope Francis is Our Holy Father, the elected leader of the Catholic Church. I trust in Pope Francis and just as if someone had threatened harm to my earthly parents I will defend him, with God's grace, to the death. Unless he does something wrong. He has to play the rats at their own game. They put down traps for him but he moves them around and they will be caught in their own traps. "Your own words have said it."

The link in itself provides no evidence of wrong doing by Our Pope and therefore no reason for me to withdraw my support for him. He is condemned by association and by subjective extrapolation of what that association implies, yes more gossip, rumour, inuendo. In my opinion those who oppose and insult this Pope oppose and insult the One , True, Catholic and Apostolic Church. There is no such Church other than the one he leads on behalf of Jesus, its head. Mac I am not going to fall out with you but neither will I ever turn on my Pope unless he teaches something that is false or makes changes that go beyond his mandate. So far in my view he has done neither. Why don't you say something good about him? Or would that stick in your throat?

This article at New Advent talks about sin - complicated or what!! You would need to be a genius to understand it but I haven't a clue!

I am not sure ,Bobby but I think what Cardinal Kasper is saying is that in certain circumstances there are mitigating circumstances which at the very least do not make the sin mortal. This is what he means by 'subjective' rather than 'objective ' sin .

I think the danger is that he is adopting a form of moral relativism which has as its bottom line the contention that there is no objective sin.

It obscures the reality to such an extent we cn no longer see the wood for the trees. We get lost.

It looks to me as if Cardina Kaspers theories are already being put into practice without benefit of a synod..the abuses of Vatican 2Mark 2 only on a bigger scale:

'l Meanwhile Cardinal Angelo Scola of Milan described in an article for this week's Tablet how his archdiocese has created an office for separated Catholics, where they will be able to talk through their circumstances and be offered guidance on suitable courses of action, as well as an explanation of canonical procedures for the dissolution of a marriage.'
