Just reading through this thread, I'm sorry not to have caught all this earlier, so am playing catch-up... I would highly recommend that you check out Francine Bériault, a.k.a. 'La Fille du Oui à Jésus' from Québec, who has for a number of years now been in the process of establishing a refuge in Chertsey at the Sanctuaire Marie-Reine des Coeurs. As I have mentioned elsewhere on this thread, I have studied around 1000 pages of her alleged locutions, which have struck many people for their coherence and a level of theological/philosophical sophistication inexplicable given Francine B's rudimentary level of education and limited vocabulary (she is an intelligent but extremely simple woman and certainly not naturally erudite). The essence of her charism, for those who acknowledge it as genuine, seems to be that since 2001 she acts as the 'Lord's microphone' in speaking aloud what she hears internally a split-second earlier. I witnessed this in action when I recently heard her in Paris during a remarkable Q & A session when she responded in what appeared to be a partial ecstasy to questions raising some thorny theological issues (e.g. on Mariology, the subject of the relationship of the created to the uncreated in Christ's hypostatic union...) with profound answers that struck me as coming through her but not from her. Looking at the prefaces to her five volumes of writings, which strongly overlap with the international 'prophetic consensus', I am clearly not the only theologian to have been impacted by this material, and Francine's mission was given the blessing of now Cardinal Marc Ouellet - who many considered papabile at the last conclave - in 2008, as French speakers can read on the following page in which she also relates a striking purported vision of ... St Anne (thanks Patrick for bringing Grandma into this!!). Naturally this does not mean official diocesan approval in a formal sense, and all the usual caveats about the fallibility of private revelation apply, but the Cardinal's blessing is nonetheless significant... http://lafilleduouiajesus.org/lamotte2_pm07mars08NEW.htm Although Francine's talks are in French, there is often English translation, and there is a substantial library of bilingual video recordings online at https://onedrive.live.com/?id=B14F478BA16042B4!307&cid=B14F478BA16042B4&group=0 Volumes 1-4 of her writings in English can be downloaded at https://onedrive.live.com/?id=B14F478BA16042B4!2929&cid=B14F478BA16042B4&group=0
Having taken a brief look at Dennis Wrigley's ministry website, I was very interested to see that his Maranatha Community were behind this remarkable ecumenical 'prophetic listening session' involving some members of the British Parliament in the Palace of Westminster in 2012, with Fiona Bruce MP hosting the process of collating feedback: source: http://supranatural-life.com/publisher/Article.aspx?ID=317676 Initial output from the time of listening to Jesus in the Palace of Westminster On June 12th 2012 more than eighty Christian leaders from throughout the UK gathered in St Mary's Undercroft in the Palace of Westminster alongside Parliamentarians for an hour of listening to God in silence. Anglicans, Baptists, Catholics and Christian leaders from a wide cross-section of ministries were present. Two hours of feedback where then held in Committee Room 16 and written submissions made to the organisers. To read more about the day and the process click here.Below is the initial summary issued by the Organising group, a coallition of ministries under the banner "Together for the Nation" chaired by the Maranatha Prayer Community. A full transcript will be available on request. Watch this space for more information. Many of those who attended have said it was a very special time for them. Apparently this is the first time a group has gathered in Parliament just to listen to God with no other agenda. The summary contains a very sobering and challenging message. We are told to weigh prophecy, because while we see in part and prophesy in part, the seed of God's "now" word are too valuable to miss. "Don't treat prophecy lightly, test it all; hold on to what is good and hold back from what seems bad" - 1 Thessalonians 5:20-22 So please read the summary below and where it seems good let it shape and inform your praying and ignore what doesn't seem right to you. It is probably worth observing that like most prophecies to whole nations, it is quite broad - after all, it needs to frame the prayers of a million and more potential hearers and intercessors. So look for your own guidance within the framework it sets out. If you accept this message, it demands an urgent response involving practical preparation and action. As one attendee wrote: “God is looking for people of skilful hands and integrity of heart who will listen to Him”. These five themes and words repeated again and again in the verbal feedback session. Other more specific guidance and thoughts can be found in the full transcript. God’s appointed time to judge the nations of the world is very nearly upon us. Our nation and its church have turned away from God and His standards and we are beginning to see and feel the resulting judgement. A remnant of Britain's covenant past, its Christian heritage and the good fruit of our worldwide missionary zeal, remains. We should embrace our spiritual sons and daughters from the nations who have returned to help us. It is possible that God may yet act out of mercy to avert the very worst of the judgement that we have brought upon ourselves. The Church is called to be the voice of hope and compassion. The shaking of every part of man’s world-wide economic, social, political and religious systems has begun. It will be a time of great humbling, purification and refining in every aspect of society. Only what is built on the foundations that God requires will be permitted to remain - righteousness, truth and justice. When the judgement has run its course, God has promised to restore us. This restoration must follow God’s revealed strategies and guidelines and not be led astray again by Man’s initiatives and good ideas. Because of His great love for this nation and all of its people, God's heart is breaking and He longs for us to respond to Him, as individuals, as a church, and as a nation. The time to respond is now.
Yesterday in Belfast we had our , 'Gay Pride Parade', at which some 40,000 people turned up. Ten years ago at the same event 100 people showed. I am not saying support for sexual perversion is the very worst thing in the world, though it does provoke the wrath of God. But it is a good wind vane pointing to how mankind in the West has abandoned God. Even good , good family Catholics flocked to it. Sometimes I am dumbstruck.
I did not listen to the above video before looking once again at the video of the 1500 young Catholic heroes in Argentina who formed a human shield around the Cathedral of St John the Baptist, against 7000 demoniac lesbians, feminists and pro abortionists and then those brave Belfast protesters above. Its hard to witness in your home town.
In The last few writings from Mark Mallett you can really feel his sense of urgency pleading with us all to be in a constant state of grace now... My sense is that 911 was a warning and preliminary stage to the “big event”. I have had several dreams about this, which at this time, my spiritual director has asked me not to speak about. But I want to say that I feel a greater urgency than ever to repeat what I wrote in that first petal, Prepare! And that is that souls need to be in a constant “state of grace”. For we are living in times when vast numbers of people may be called home in the blink of an eye… (seeMercy in Chaos). In that regard, I leave you with a powerful word I sensed Our Blessed Mother speak while I was on retreat with my spiritual director: Little ones, do not think that because you, the remnant, are small in number means that you are special. Rather, you are chosen. You are chosen to bring the Good News to the world at the appointed hour. This is the Triumph for which my Heart awaits with great anticipation. All is set now. All is in motion. The hand of my Son is ready to move in the most sovereign way. Pay careful attention to my voice. I am preparing you, my little ones, for this Great Hour of Mercy. Jesus is coming, coming as Light, to awaken souls steeped in darkness. For the darkness is great, but the Light is far greater. When Jesus comes, much will come to light, and the darkness will be scattered. It is then that you will be sent, like the Apostles of old, to gather souls into my Motherly garments. Wait. All is ready. Watch and pray. Never lose hope, for God loves everyone. [15] http://www.markmallett.com/blog/words-and-warnings/#more-20318 http://www.markmallett.com/blog/to-those-in-mortal-sin/#more-259 Yes, it is close and I do sense the need for "communities" to cone together - not the ones the world or antichrist wants - and here I suggest you read if re-read the Niven, The Lord of the World- a novel written in the early 1900s by a Catholic priest (recommended by Pope Francis) is remarkably describing the world we are in right now. Our small communities need to be Catholic relying upon God with all trust. Our forum here is one such place- but probably will not be accessible as we move deeper into Storm. So I sense our preparation must include finding those little communities whether in our neighborhood or perhaps just a few in our homes. Peace.
This post is right on the money! I am only after emailing 2 friends that I meet with about planning ahead with regard to community and refuges when the crisis gets out of control. All looks fairly normal from the outside but is rotten from within so when tbe sovereign arm of God intervenes or withdraws grace we will be plunged into utter chaos of our own making.
I was sitting here having some quiet time, talking with my wife, about the world, and our kids and where its all going. And I sometimes can get overwhelmed with it all. And then I reread what Mark said he heard from Our Lady: Never lose hope. It struck me that this is the marching order for our times. With all that we deal with even now - making a living, worrying about our kids, seeing the increasing chaos in the world, we are not just asked, but I sense commanded by the Mother of God- don't lose hope. And she even explains why - because God loves everyone. I needed to hear this again because I must admit sometimes my sense of hope is a dashed and I know where that comes from. Thank you Blessed Mother!
Mark Mallet is so worth paying attention too. If he is not authentic then no one is. I always admired Mark for his measured tone, never going over board , never overstated, speaking very carefully and thoughfully and deliberately. So the real urgency and import of his message really strikes home. I woke up this morning with the thought of writing an urgent message to all the Irish Bishops. But why would they listen.? If bodies were to rise from the grave and knock on their doors I don't think they would listen. I am at peace enough but , yes, have a certain sadness with the passing of things. So long as souls may be saved , that is all that counts in the end.
Charlie Johnston's piece today addresses some of the concerns mentioned in the comments here regarding dates and hope. Between Mark Mallet and Charlie Johnston we are being well prepared, not to mention all the good people on this forum. I am, since I live in Ireland, looking forward to hear what Frances Hogan has to say specifically to us in Ireland since the referendum. I watched a video of a talk she gave in Ireland 2 years ago and she gives very practical advice on how to pray and behave in this time of sin.
I've been asking The Lord, what do all these "signs" mean to me. When I read Mark, Charlie, and the many posts here what are you saying to me Lord. And immediately my mind was directed to the gospel of John, chapter 15: 16 You did not choose me, no, I chose you; and I commissioned you to go out and to bear fruit, fruit that will last; so that the Father will give you anything you ask him in my name. 17 My command to you is to love one another. 18 If the world hates you, you must realise that it hated me before it hated you. 19 If you belonged to the world, the world would love you as its own; but because you do not belong to the world, because my choice of you has drawn you out of the world, that is why the world hates you. Yes, it is all coming..the hate of the world, but as Our Lady commands and as Jesus told his disciples down to us right now, I chose you so have hope and love one another. Praying, praying, praying.
I'm seriously tempted to buy Frances Hogan talks (mp3 download) when I return from holiday. Not cheap at 40-50 euros but I believe she is the real deal. But all based on Holy Scriptures and that is priceless to be grounded in the Word of God, manna in this spiritually desolate age.
And not only Mark Mallett, but Julie Whedbee's latest post is saying the same thing: I will continue to manifest Myself powerfully and in ways never seen before, in ways not expected by man, nor understood by most. For it is only you, who walk with Me and talk with Me, who honor Me and praise Me and glorify My name - you are the chosen ones. You are the ones I will reveal My heart to. It is given unto you the knowledge, the wisdom and the understanding of the Kingdom of Heaven. Storehouses of blessings pour out upon you and will continue. You will have everything you need. You must trust in this.
Padraig, if the promise of what is in store for the faithful who perservere wasn't so beautiful, I think I might look at what is passing and be saddened a bit too. However, aside from the great persecution that is certain, I am very excited about seeing the period of the Triumph of the Immaculate Hear of Mary and the Second Coming of Christ and the new era. Julie Whedbee's latest message speaks of several of the graces coming through it all. Many are called, few are chosen. Perhaps one could compare it to a mother who is about to go into labor for the first time. A bit apprehensive, a bit uncertain, a "bit" painful (I can say this being a guy), yet when it is over all the pain will be gone and the beauty of the new born will be all that matters.
Padraig, you have never said a truer word. Saint Anne is the most lovable saint. Why wouldn't she be the best grandma in the entire creation with a Grandson called Jesus who is our Lord. Can I just share some beautiful gifts Saint Anne got for me. About 3 or 4 years ago, I decided to get Holy Masses said for my grandparents. That is my fathers parents and my mothers parents. Then I thought, I wonder if anyone ever thought of having a Holy Mass said for the intentions of Jesus's grandma. So I got a Mass offering for her intentions. The following year, when I requested my saint for that year, to my surprise and delight, I was given Saint Anne. A few days later, I had a phone call from a close relative who was desperate to find work, and out of the blue an opportunity was offered to her. Praise God and thank you Saint Anne. A few days after that, I had a phone call from my own grandson, and he was offered a job that could only be explained by a miracle. It changed his life forever. Praise God and thank you Saint Anne; oh there was no doubt Saint Anne was working there God bless her. I had forgotten about all this but never forget to thank God for the kindness of Saint Anne. And on Sunday 26th July this year realised it was the feast day of Saint Anne, and the first wedding anniversary of my grand daughter. Oh Saint Ann, thank God for you, I only realised you were looking out for my grand daughter too. Nowadays, so many young ones live together, and I was so grateful to God not to have my grand daughter living in sin. I don't even know the full extent of the gifts our family have received from the gracious loving mother of our Heavenly Queen. And I think it was all because of a little granny Julia thinking of Jesus's granny and how she missed cuddling baby Jesus and helping Saint Joseph and Blessed Mother when their Holy Babe was little. And just having a Holy Mass intention out of love and gratitude and acknowledgement of this great saint.
They sell the magazine from the shrine to St Beaupre in Quebec at a Church near us and have a wonderful statue of Ann with Our Lady as a child. I always thought she never got enough attention paid to her. I love her. How could anyone say they had a Devotion ot Our Lady without having a deep love for her Mother.?
