Kind of creepy. Reminds me of Bosch's Garden of Earthly Delights.

But, but...!, the Schengen Agreement! The Single European Act!

Hopefully, we are about to see the EU begin the long rowing back from SuperState to the original Common Market.

The Green Agenda is looking very threadbare now. Their promotion of increased public transport does not look so attractive in the face of a pandemic, compared to the self-isolating occupants of private cars. We also have been reminded of the usefulness of plastic. One also has to wonder whether those frail vegans have as robust an immune system as the meat-eaters-I can tell you I'm glad of my steaks these days with their quality proteins and essential fats. Indeed, since we're constantly being told that warmer weather will reduce the epidemic, surely we need some more global warming? The globalists' passion for universal free movement of people must now be recognised as guaranteeing free movement of plagues. The ludicrous recent assertion that viruses do not carry passports ignores the fundamental fact that viruses can go nowhere without those human beings who carry them (or not, as is often the case). Expect populism to get even more popular.

How long before we're all back to earth worship, scaremongering about fascist European nationalists and wall to wall lectures from little grim Greta? Probably when the schools are open again. Those kids need to learn how vital carbon taxes are to their survival as a species. Expect to see a rush of documentaries about dolphins choking from face masks in the Pacific causing the world to be on the brink of famine. There's no chance they will let this crisis go to waste.

  8. Recently there was a news bit about how the Millennials and Gen Zers are calling the Coronavirus the "boomer remover"! The "sickness" is passed down.

  9. THE VIGIL OF SORROWS
Posted on March 14, 2020 by Mark Mallett

    IT
is with mixed horror and grief, sadness and disbelief that many of us read of the cessation of Catholic Masses around the world. One man said he is no longer permitted to bring Communion to those in nursing homes. Another diocese is refusing to hear confessions. The Easter Triduum, the solemn reflection on the Passion, Death and Resurrection of Jesus, has been canceled in one diocese in the United States, and will likely be the case at countless more. Yes, yes, there are the rational arguments: “We have an obligation to care for the very young, the aged, and those with compromised immune systems. And the best way we can care for them is minimizing large group gatherings for the time being…” Never mind that this has always been the case with seasonal flu (and we’ve never canceled Masses for that).

That's just a more crude version of the message being conveyed by the politicians, their media hacks and the World Health Organisation until they decided it was time to do something. Now it's a crisis and we need China style control of the populace for the sake of the elderly among us.

I will be very surprised if we have any Holy Week or Easter ceremonies in our churches.

Brilliant DeGaulle. Spot on. God works mysteriously. He brings good out of evil in spite of satan's plots. We are privileged to see Him move in His sovereign power.

I've just posted this on Blizzard's thread about Archbishop Vigano calling for the doors of churches to be thrown open to the faithful: https://twitter.com/EdwardPentin/status/1238970787383697415

    Here's what he tweeted:

"The Prefecture of the Pontifical Household rather than the Holy See Press Office quietly announces major news tonight: That all the Vatican's Holy Week liturgical celebrations will take place without the physical presence of the faithful:"

  15. I wouldn't be surprised that one of the coming steps in the big plan of the NWO would be the taking down of the grid in a few big regions. Right now, with the ordered isolation of populations due to this "created" virus, people can still communicate and share and give hope to one another via social media. That can calm things a bit, knowing things are temporary. But what will be the result with the cut off of information, not getting answers within the panic? Ready to believe any authority that takes charge??

It’s now official (in case you haven’t noticed).

Weirder and weirder. They really need our prayers. We can't offer Masses now but we can offer rosaries.

"Rome reopens its churches. Pope and Cardinal Vicar blame one another

A new decree by the Cardinal Vicar of Rome, Angelo De Donatis, revokes the decision made just a few hours earlier to close the churches of Rome, after the pope thundered at his morning Mass in Santa Marta against “drastic measures.” And so the churches in Rome are reopening, but Cardinal De Donatis wrote to the pastors of Rome and revealed that the decision to close churches was made by the Pope. The protests by many of the faithful and alarmed phone calls from bishops and cardinals convinced him to make a U-turn. A disturbing spectacle of a church hierarchy in a state of confusion. And now may the bishops have the courage to reinstate public Masses with the faithful (obeying all security and health directives)."

Just pray for them, Blizzard, and God will sort it out.

I'm worried about what compromises will be made to bring in more money from the billionaires and "charitable" foundations to cover the financial cost of the Vatican Museums being closed to the public.
