Wow, great homily. Courageous speaking truth. It shouldn't be but our society is sick, very sick so the truth of the Gospel is shunned as unloving and intolerant. It is quite the opposite.
Cardinal Arinze was recently asked if he was a Conservative? To which he replied that when he was a child he was taught that 2+2=4, that he still believes this and if this made him a Conservative? He said that the Truth is Eternal and never changes. I really, really admire this Muslim lady at a Gay Pride March in London yesterday. The media is going crazy about this, of course.
You know it has gotten so bad that it really surprises me to hear a young priest speaking the truth simply and fearlessly .I just don't expect it anymore. People are just simply too afraid. How sad that I am surprised.
