Yes, the Northern Hemisphere is imploding. Even in the USA, western states like California (1.5 children) are well below the number of children/family needed to sustain the population! My older daughter, Rachel, and her husband Steve (50% Mexican) are in their 30s and have 4 children. None of Steve's cousins on his Mom's side have any children! So sad! This post analysis is why I appreciate so much that God sends his prophets of our time to know we are at the end of the age. No guess work with the prophets, God's messengers. Yes, scripture gives sound indicators, but prophets give are providing sound details, which are unfolding in great magnitude at this time. As Catholics we have such a great barometer in God's prophets who are consistent with scripture, church teachings and several others trustworthy messengers who are giving us all the pieces of the puzzle we need to prepare for these times and leading all who have ears into the era of peace.
Yes Paul says in Thessalonians, 'Do not despise Prophesy'. It gives us such a wonderful Road Map. Jesus Himself told us to , 'read the Sign of the Times'. How many conflagrations does it take for it to sink in that the Golden State has lost its lustre in some profoundly karmic fashion? How many messes of human excrement on our doorstep does it take to realize the situation will never get better, it can only get worse--much worse? How many power blackouts, traffic gridlocks and mandatory evacuations does it take for those in denial to accept that the Mandate of Heaven has been withdrawn? Young residents of the state have never experienced the velocity and depth of California's famous busts. The last real spot of bother in California's economy occurred almost 30 years ago in the early 1990s. Since then, it's been one boom after another. But as Benoit Mandelbrot showed in his book The (Mis)behavior of Markets, markets and human behavior are inherently fractal, i.e. chaotic, which means there are limits on the predictability of markets and economic trends. Thus the chattering class has no inkling that the masses can cancel their Netflix, Disney and Apple subscriptions as easily as they signed on. Once jobs, tips, bonuses and gigs dry up, the tech-entertainment giants will find expenses are still rising while revenues are cratering. Once revenues and profits crater, it's harder for management to justify borrowing billions more to fund more stock buybacks. Extending booms into infinity doesn't track reality. The last real recession circa 1990-1991 blew a $20 billion hole in the California state budget, and accounting for inflation and growth since then, we can expect a $35 - $40 billion hole being blown in the budget once the IPO / tech bubble collapses, as the state is heavily dependent on capital gains taxes for much of its income tax revenues. (There is no long-term capital gains rate in California; all capital gains are taxed as ordinary income, a rate that quickly hits 13.3%.) Once capital gains dry up, the state is in a fiscal crisis with no solution. And if the state can't solve the homeless crisis with current spending in the hundreds of millions, then what will happen when the revenues dry up? What will happen if the homeless population doubles or triples? Look at the social havoc generated by the homeless population in San Francisco, which is roughly 1% of the total populace (around 9,000 homeless and a total population of 860,000.) Phase transitions are intrinsic to systems displaying self-organized criticality such as markets and human behavior. Everything seems fine on the surface, and there's no pressing need to sell the house and move away; there seems to be plenty of time until the phase transition kicks in and suddenly everything has changed for the worse, and so much faster than anyone expected. At that point, it's too late: there's no bid for overpriced decaying bungalows, overpriced tech stocks, etc. Just like Mark Twain's chest of mining stocks, the transition from being worth a fortune to no-bid near-worthlessness can be sudden indeed once California loses the Mandate of Heaven. Beneath the surface, pressures are building and resilience is eroding, and when the tipping point is reached the transition will not be gradual and controllable, it will be non-linear and uncontrollable. Imagine Our Blessed Lady were to appear to you and hold out her hand. Then she were to say to you, 'Come my child I have come to take you home to heaven!' What would be your perfect, saintly response? Why it would, of course be the very same response Mary gave to Gabriel when he asked her to give birth to Jesus. 'Be it done unto me according to thy word'. Let our bags be packed. Let us always be ready to go. Then we shall know no fear, but only perfect joy and confidence.
One thing I find that sets me apart from most other Catholic believers I know is not holiness or prayer fullness but its the looking forward to dying and going home. I hope that's not a strange thing, maybe its related to having more faith than I deserve. Some people have been quite taken a back when I have said that I look forward to dying. Maybe I wouldn't be quite so brave in the sight of an eminent departure or if Our Lady said 'Come my child I have come to take you home to heaven!'

When this happens, God will make nature harden and react against man. All this will happen in only one event. God promised us that this purification will be of fire, but this fire will have the power to penetrate the flesh and reach all the way to the bowels of the being. It is not a fire as we know it. This fire will enter through the mouth and it will be like a burning within. It will be a test of faith for the faithful. It will be such a dense darkness that nothing will be seen. This darkness will enter the soul. I know that there is a promise that only the Blessed candles will give light; but there is a light that is inextinguishable, the light of the good and faithful soul. There are a lot of people who have blessed candles but their lives are a disaster. To these creatures the candles will not light up: their soul will not give them light. Sin will appear as terrifying apparitions. For example: lust will come as a demon. The demons of intense sexual desires of the flesh, of abortion, of drugs, of blasphemy, will appear in the most frightening forms. I saw the demons shouting profanities and taking over the bodies of those in sin to knock on the doors of the houses, simulating the voices of their families. In this way they can enter and snatch the people that are inside and take them to hell, which will open up making the earth shake and there will be an overflow of streams and seas, until the waters submerge most of the earth, it will be such that whoever is left alive will feel alone. The earth will be covered with corpses and a plague of wolves will come that will eat the corpses so they will not contaminate. The good people will be protected. We must have a small altar in the house with prayer books and blessed candles. The Lord allowed me to see the darkness, I heard terrible wailings. I looked towards the North and saw a great dark cloud advancing towards the South, but it was something terrifying. With the darkness came demons and fire that advanced and snatched everyone that was on their path. I saw the Angels of God in front of the darkness, removing the good people and taking them to their homes in matters of minutes and the innocent were taken to another place. As the darkness spread, dense, very dense; with a nauseating odor that came from the bodies from the creatures that the demons were taking out their entrails and scattering them all over the earth. The demons shouted with terrible howls, words that I did not understand. They wanted to enter the houses of the faithful, where there were people praying with blessed candles, but it was not possible for them. The demons fled, desperately. From one moment to the other I saw all the Earth dark, the whole Earth was convulsed. The earthquake did not diminish its intensity and the waters swept the earth. I saw a blessed candle burn for three days and more. Yes wonderful Saint Teresa said that and that about covers it. I too long for heaven. More and more as the world grows darker but my heart is so heavy for my loved ones.
We are already in heaven when we do the will of the good God. I find myself already n heaven now. I often find myself thinking, :can heaven be any better?' Certainly I find myself laid on some very, very little Cross on Earth. But this is my Greatest Joy! The angels and the saints in heaven cannot do this! Only I on Earth can! So I am a million times superior to those in heaven; that I can still carry the Cross of Jesus/ Oh how I wish to stay here below forever! That I might always bear this Cross..my greatest Crown!!
