My thought is, if Charlie was of no consequence then he would be left alone as just a nut and nobody would bother. If you're getting heat, it's probably because you're a threat to the fallen one's plans

Thanks guys. Reading it from the viewpoint of an old editor, it looks like it started as a garden-variety hit piece. But as the author did a little research he discovered there isn't much there to hit - and was honest enough to acknowledge that, without completely losing the original focus of the piece. This sort of ambivalence has been common as I have traveled. I have met privately with a lot of officials around the country. In one major Midwestern Archdiocese, I had a private meeting with two key diocesan officials. One of them confessed that while watching the Birmingham Video, he had a powerful negative reaction to me...but then considering it, he could find nothing I had said that should have triggered that reaction. He said it made him consider his own expectations...and we had a great fruitful meeting, leaving as friends. On the one hand, serious officials need to protect the faithful. There are so many frauds and nuts out there. It is easy to get caught up in what you think someone would say rather than what they actually do say. I think this author was wrestling more with himself than with me...what he was finding in his light research did not match his preconceptions of what he would find...so there was a certain cognitive dissonance that came through in the article. It is probably good that these things be checked with excessive, rather than insufficient, rigor. Once again, if what I am saying is inspired by God it can't be stopped. If it is not, it should be. But it is nice to hear your friends speak up on your behalf. Thanks, guys.

It is very well written and I thought that Charlie might be willing to relinquish some more details of the Storm. He flinched but did not change his tune. I think he is wise to do this because if he disclosed a tasty bite it would morph into the old Lays potato chip commercial: "Bet you can't eat just one." The thing is that people want Charlie to give a play by play and that's not helpful to each of us to carry out Gods will. It would only serve to turn us into viewers as it unfolds. What he's called to do is turn us into active participants in the Rescue. Besides, Charlie already gave us the general lay of the land that will unfold. Economic collapse, which we are seeing unfold daily. War against radical Islam, which we are seeing unfold daily. The New World being evangelized from the Old World and even Russia saving us which functionally reunifies the eastern and western Churches, which we saw begin yesterday with a first in 1000 year meeting. The US government falling, which we see unfolding daily as the citizens have lost all faith in the giver and are turning to like of Donald Trump and Bernie Sanders (come Lord Jesus, come!). Worldwide civil war breaking out which we see ham benign with Muslim vs Europeans in European cities and liberal vs conservative and socialist vs religious here in the US, can you imagine what this devolves into when the ATMs and banks then stores close? Obama not finishing his term. China attacking and Russia coming to our aid to keep us afloat until The Rescuee by Our Lady. Said Rescue then converts all who choose God to unite into the one True Church, Muslims, Jews, and Protestants included. But remember The Rescue means we know we are saved and will survive, not that all is instantly peaches and cream. It will likely take us many years to fully end the storm and rebuild.
I think that Charlie J. is the "Real Deal" in large measure 'cause he just reinforces what I had come to believe long before I had ever heard of him. I think, as FP points out above, that Planet Earth is in for a major and unpleasant "Re-Set". I truly wish that Earth would bumble along for 40 more years in a status quo mode so that I would be long gone before The Deluge. That, sadly, is wishful thinking and foolishness! So! As I approach old age, I will prepare as best I can for what is to come ... which is what we are all supposed to be doing anyway ... Right!! ......Eh!!??? Now!! If Charle J. turns out to be a well meaning but misguided soul or an outright fraud will that change The Path of my Faith? Of course not!!
