Understandable, Fatima. Late in the document, the Pope spoke specifically of a "human ecology," which he defined as pertaining to the family, marriage and gender. I should have been clearer on that.
Surely our Holy Father understands natural law, which is closely linked to human ecology or the development of it. As it pertains to natural law, it is doctrine, you are correct.

Something happened with the Pope while he was in America...I don't know what, but something changed both quietly and dramatically. I believe -but don't know - that his blunder was to emphasize the temporal and political at the expense of faith and morals throughout most of the year. That is behind us and now, I believe the Holy Father has entered into the beginning of his period of greatness.
The only event that comes to mind is the meeting with Pope Francis and Kim Davis, which the Vatican was downplaying . . . It seemed kind of gray to on what that was all about.

That may have been part of a fruit of what happened internally while he was in America, but it is not the heart of it. I don't know what happened, only that something internal clicked in. And those who think they will play Pope Francis for a chump now are in for a bitter surprise.

The Holy Father has been consistent in His Papacy...nothing has changed. What happened in the USA, was that there was a spiritual awakening...even CNN was showing the Masses. I'm sure many Graces were given with Our Holy Fathers trip. Its hard for me to believe Papa Francis has changed in any way. The only real danger is that He is a lot sicker then we know. I think His schedule is going to pick up steam...time is short to save souls.
The Pope does not confuse me. Almost everything confuses me, but not the Holy Father. He is Christ's vicar on earth. Him I do not have to try and understand but just follow. If I follow him, I should be OK. And I know he is Christ's annointed once he defends the Real Presence and our Blessed Mother. I used to worry about getting lost when the Church splits but not now. Just keep to this and everything will be fine.
We ALL need to stay close to Home base...and its with Papa Francis, the Rock Jesus prays for nite and day! In the months ahead many will see the Genius of Pope Francis....shhh for now. We have Nothing to fear!
It appears that there may well be much "Confusion" ahead of us.... satan & pals are working overtime to create confusion, division and consternation amongst The Flock!! Thanks IJP and all the prayers for safe travel by The Gang here! In my chubby Old Fart disguise, I penetrated the "Beltway" and did my Escape & Evade routine as taught to me in Survival School. Visited with both my sisters plus two generations of nieces & nephews ..... it turned out to be my biggest Fam-Reunion in 10+ years!
