    I think this deserves its own thread. Just reposting what Chiara posted in the Antonio Yague thread a short while ago.

    New Zealand earthquake: Tsunami arrives after powerful tremor hits

    The US Geological Survey said the magnitude-7.8 quake hit just after midnight (11:02 GMT on Sunday), some 95km (59 miles) from Christchurch.

    A 6.2 earthquake just hit Argentina. Will the largest supermoon in almost 70 years causes more??

    Dear God, help them.
    Joe (Crozier), are you ok?

    Our friend, Joe, is well. Unfortunately, however, he's been dismissed from this forum, evicted without a word after posting affirmations for the work of Pope Francis, including the words, "Thank God for Pope Francis." That's just plain wrong.

    Praying for New Zealanders and Argentinians affected by the quakes. Hmmm... In the worst days of the junta in Argentina, people there would suddenly disappear without explanation as well, evicted and extinguished. Have mercy, O Lord.

    I saw Joe's name on this forum just the other day.
    It does not seem to me that he has been dismissed or evicted.. ? He must have been allowed back onto the Forum, otherwise, how could his comments have appeared?
    At any rate, I am pleased to hear that he is ok, thanks be to God and His holy Mother.
    If you are in touch with him, please pass on warmest regards and thank God he is safe.

    Yes, Inis. Joe had returned to the forum but, I understand, it was short lived. What I noticed is that as soon as he made a supportive comment concerning Pope Francis, he was silently removed. Anyone can search the members listing with "Joseph Crozier" and discover you receive an "error" message declaring that his name cannot be found. In Argentina's junta days, such folk were known as despreciados, the despised, rejected, scorned, held in contempt. All because one defends Pope Francis on a forum dedicated to the Mother of God in beyond the pale, in my view.

    The shocks were not experienced in the area of New Zealand where Joe lives. Please be assured of his safety and his affection for his friends here at MoG. He had conveyed, recently, that he was very happy to be back communicating with his MoG family. As you can see, his disappearance is not by his own choice. What a mind boggling development in the face of expressing appreciation for Christ's Vicar.

    I suspect there is more to it than that.

    There is a little exaggeration involved too comparing the forum to the junta days, lol.

    Are you sure wee one?

    The following was posted by Joe last Friday on the thread garabandal news! and under his name it says that he is a guest. I don't know the difference here on the MoG forum, between a member and a guest.
    I hope all our New Zealand friends of MoG forum are safe and well. Including, Mac, Blue, Frodo, Lumena, Joe, Luke and family and all that I can't remember,

    God Bless and keep you all safe and well. Amen.

    The post by Joe......... a poem on mercy. Notice what he says at the end! highlighted!!

    "The quality of mercy is not strained;
    It droppeth as the gentle rain from heaven
    Upon the place beneath. It is twice blest;
    It blesseth him that gives and him that takes:
    ‘T is mightiest in the mightiest; it becomes
    The throned monarch better than his crown:
    His sceptre shows the force of temporal power,
    The attribute to awe and majesty,
    Wherein doth sit the dread and fear of kings;
    But mercy is above this sceptred sway;
    It is enthronèd in the hearts of kings,
    It is an attribute to God himself;
    And earthly power doth then show likest God’s
    When mercy seasons justice. Therefore,Padraig,
    Though justice be thy plea, consider this,
    That, in the course of justice, none of us
    Should see salvation: we do pray for mercy;
    And that same prayer doth teach us all to render
    The deeds of mercy."
    I think I am back in - good to be home. Thanks Padraig.

    Hello Dear Josephite,
    Sadly, I am most sure. I 'm aware of this post and Joe's ever inspiring and edifying contributions. His posts are actually ones which drew me here in the first place. I do mostly check in here to read rather than post much as my plate of duties is pretty full at this time. Joe had conveyed last week he was very happy to be back with this family. Unfortunately, it seems that expressing support of the Holy Father has resulted in his swift and unannounced removal.
    Praying for all...

    josephite, i can confirm the details as stated by wee one. i too noticed joe's return with the post you copied here. The fact that he is no longer a member of the forum can be confirmed by returning to the post you copied, and noting that his identifier now shows "GUEST". I am very grateful to wee one for bringing it to the attention of the forum.

    It may be that Joe came back without checking with Padraig first. Joe has created several accounts in the past couple of months without permission. It is my understanding that Padraig said Joe might be able to come back around Christmas time. I don't think that sneaking back on the forum several times when you know the person running it wants you to check with them first is good form.

    I'm sure there was another thread or post about the earthquake in NZ where a member (Lumena?) said that he was near Christchurch but was ok. That was after the first earthquake. Please God, Lumena is still ok after the subsequent quake.

    Hi everyone, yes, I can say that I am well and truly ok. I had a sleepless night and for that reason I could not go to work the next day as I was just so tired, but I had electricity and hot water and light and the supermarkets in Christchurch were still functioning( except those near to the ocean). We must have had a tsunami of sorts but not in any way a destructive one, and no loss of life here in Christchurch because we were about 2 hours drive from the epicentre. I am slowly realising how devestating it has been for those closer to the epicentre.(in Kaikoura) Also there are continual aftershocks and we feel them only slightly where we are. But it is not over yet. The scientists are warning there is more to come.

    I am studying to be a nurse and I am working at a hospital on a clinical placement. that is just so stressfull and challenging in itself for someone my age that I dont have much time to think about the earthquakes, as dreadful as that may sound. I need prayers for my placement, please pray for me that it goes well, that I can get through to the end of it and pass my exam at the end of it. So far i have been blessed there but to be middle aged and thrown in at the deep end in a hospital ward is not funny.

    On Sunday at 5.30 pm , we had the beautiful celebrations of the closing of the Holy Door the evening before the quakes and then midnight came and wham, the big one hit us. The timing was stunning!

    Tonight we have the supermoon rising. There is some anxiety about that among the polpulace - so will they know how to read the signs of the times? All I can say is that the suffering will bear fruit.

    Thanks be to God that you are safe Lumena. I said a little prayer for you when I heard about the second earthquake. Your job intentions will be in my prayers from now on. Hang in there.
