I wrote this in another post earlier today In St Malachy's list there is only one Pope left [Peter the Great] for this era. And the 3 Popes warning of Garabandal was another indication that we are coming rapidly to an end of an age. It is beginning to collapse & will be like a deck of cards - first economic, then social & political chaos ---- it has begun --- keep an eye on Greece for if they leave the Euro then this will have serious consequences for Spain, Ireland, Portugal. All will crumble. The Euro experiment was doomed from the beginning. I cannot help but think that God 'blinded the leaders' of Europe when they created the Euro since most economists now say it could have never worked unless there had been full political union like a United States of Europe. But Europe is in real trouble and collapse is coming. This will then have serious consequences for the USA - the debt bubble has to burst sometime - the economic collapse of the Dollar might lead to a fragmentation of the USA as in Padraig's icons for economic chaos always leads to social & political chaos. It seems very similiar to the Fall of the Roman Empire. Itws amzing hearing the sound of real fear in the voices of the leaders. THe next stage I suppose is the series of Revolutions already foretold and the descent into anarchy. Our Leaders were far, far further from God than the people they led. Perhaps we can find some hope in this. I am surprised people are not more cynical about these rogues than they are. But still they are very,very cynical. Poor Greece , they have a huge religious tradition.

I remember how when things were good how I spent so much on things I didn't need and borrowed money for things I couldn't really afford.I was greedy and living too much for material things. I am strugglng to get back to fasting again after Easter. I appreciate now how my own greed helped cause these things to the poor people in places like Greece and Ireland. I hope now to lead a much simpler lifestyle. At the week end I am going up the Mourne Mountains to camp in a tent for three days. Its so exciting. The Mourne Mountains are where local writer CS Lewis based his 'Narnia' trilogy. In which Aslan the lion of course represented Christ. So, i na sense I am going to Narnia, to meet Aslan! As to what is upon us and what is to come I feel a great sense of powerlessness but also a great sense of strength in Mary's words: July 21, 1982 …Concerning Fasting: "The best fast is on bread and water. Padraig, your underscoring of the importance of fasting was very timely. I have to admit I've done anything but adhere to the messages of fasting as of late. However I'm being encouraged to "begin again" and that's just what I'll do. I'm aware that I hear God much more clearly with an empty belly than full. Back to the message of my Lent: Simplify, Simplify, Simplify. But I can't help thinking, looking at that picture of Narnia that there would be some lovely trout around those parts. I'm glad you guys in europe are keeping us up to date on how urgent the greek situation is. It's not getting much coverage in the news here at all...let alone hearing fearing in the voices of leaders. Granted, I don't have time to watch the news at all so that may be it, but you'd think this might be on CNNs site or something, but it's not. when europe collapses and dominoes quickly over here, people will not know what hit them!
The problem isn't so much with Greece, PS Its that if Greece falls, Spain, Portugal and Ireland will fall and then the rest of Europe like Domino's. I hear real fear in economists voices when they talk of this. It might explain the prohesies of Russia and Islam attacking Europe and overrunning it. If Europe is econmically broken it would give an opening.
We must never forget that the United States and its military must first be compromised in order for any invasion into Europe to occur. The clock is ticking. As the Lord says in Isaiah 45: Turn to me , O man, and be saved! Eternal Father, we offer to you, the Body and Blood, Soul and Divinity, of your dearly Beloved Son, in atonement for our sins, and those of the whole world! Amen!

I always thought the US would be compromised by series of natural disasters (Yellowstone volcano, tidal wave, New Madrid Earthquake...) which the communist countries (Russia/China) would seize upon. I keep my eye on Italy/France for economic breakdown leading to civil war leading to Russian invasion of Western Europe.
Yes its impossible that Europe be invaded with the US at the helm. But if the US is facing the most dangerous enemy it has ever encountered it will have its own problems.
