Actually #11.....I had a son who died 5 weeks after birth, 15 years ago. This is a girl, so that will make 9 girls and 1 boy at home!
O Great Saint Gerard, beloved servant of Jesus Christ, perfect imitator of your meek and humble Savior, and devoted Child of the Mother of God: enkindle within my heart one spark of that heavenly fire of charity which glowed in your heart and made you an angel of love. O glorious Saint Gerard, because when falsely accused of crime, you did bear, like your Divine master, without murmur or complaint, the calumnies of wicked men, you have been raised up by God as the Patron and Protector of expectant mothers. Preserve Heidi from danger and from the excessive pains accompanying childbirth, and shield the child which she now carrys, that it may see the light of day and receive the lustral waters of baptism through Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen. I will also ask padraig to light a candle at the Saint Gerard Majella shrine in Clonard and of course prayers to my heavenly sister Miraculous Invocation to St. Therese O Glorious St. Therese, whom Almighty God has raised up to aid and inspire the human family, I implore your Miraculous Intercession. You are so powerful in obtaining every need of body and spirit from the Heart of God. Holy Mother Church proclaims you "Prodigy of Miracles... the greatest saint of Modern Times." Now I fervently beseech you to answer my petition (mention in silence here) and to carry out your promises of spending heaven doing good on earth... of letting fall from Heaven a Shower of Roses. Little Flower, give me your childlike faith, to see the Face of God in the people and experiences of my life, and to love God with full confidence. St. Therese, my Carmelite Sister, I will fulfill your plea "to be made known everywhere" and I will continue to lead others to Jesus through you. Amen.

Thank you so much for the prayers! Baby Sophia was born today at 12:46 pm! 7 pounds, 7 ounces. It was scary at the end, she got stuck and they needed to use the vacuum, but she is doing well!
Sorry to hear about the fright at the end Heidi. My wife had a scare with our last one also. You would think these things should get easier. God will bless you.
