Having gone to my doctor this afternoon, he has contacted me that I'm at risk for potential, fatal blood clots in my lungs and I'm now on the way to the hospital! Never a dull moment. I'd appreciate prayers! Safe Under Mary's Mantle!
Prayers Mario, but be at peace. The blood thinners they use to prevent or treat deep leg vein clots (DVTs - deep vein thrombosis) and lung clots (pulmonary embolisms) are effective and not hard to tolerate. (I take a different kind of blood thinner since I had strokes.) Usually the risk of a lung clot comes from clots in the deep veins of the legs, which can break off and travel to the lungs, and if not treated, block pulmonary circulation, which can indeed be fatal.
