The Church in its public concrete institution is in pieces. It is less than a worthless NGO. Corrupt and corrupting root and branch. The problem for us is the bond that unites it visibly and invisibly is indissoluble. It will be brought down it will be painful for us all but by God it is needed. If judgement begins with the household of God what will it be like for the secularist corridors of power that govern the world.?
I know there is a strong Irish contingent on the forum out of interest how many have went to the WMOF or to see the Pope. I personally have no desire or interest at all. I still have to reflect on this. I mean the vicar of Christ is coming to my homeland. The visible head of the Church of ages and the oldest and most venerable office in world history. What do I hear Alarm bells stay the hell away.
Raymond Arroyo interviewed Bill Donohue this week, Edited to add: I came across the following video today, I posted it here for the purposes of explaining why the accusations against Cardinal McCarrick are so extremely grave and also for the purpose of allowing members to read the comments made on the video. For example, the video was posted seven years ago and the following comment was posted six years ago, 'Pease note that Cardinal McCarrick "Uncle Teddy" has been cited in MANY accounts of homosexuality and manipulation of Seminarians while the Bishop in Newark and in Metuchen. Many cases were paid off and settled out of courts and some monies were used to retrain priests after they left the priesthood due to his inability to control his tendencies. I am a devoted Catholic. I am not a Catholic hater. Jesus Christ overturned the money changers tables at the temples when he saw issues.'
One of the Jesuits up the street asked me if I was going and I told him I would like to be on an other planet when he gets here. There was a pause. Then he asked, "You're not a fan then?'
But there is much that is postive in all this. A boil must burst before it is drained. The major problem is that the powers that be in the hierarchy and the Vatican are complicit in homossexual vice. Our Lady of Revelation stated that the Church must be pretty well burnt down to the Foundations by persecutuion and rebuilt in order to be, 'Cleansed of the Filth within'. This is true. There is no doubt now this is the case. Also I think Pope Francis is the Pope spoken of by Our Lady of Revelation as the Pope who would, 'Spread false Teachings'. There can be no doubt about it. I also have zero trust in Poep Francis as regards perversion; as far as I am concerned now he is totally complicit and that many , many Caridnals are up to their necks in this; never mind the Bishops.
You know it might sound totally incredible but I am very upbeat and postive about all this. If you wonder why then imagine all this stuff was goign on and no one knew about it. Imagine how terribel this would be. I was speaking about thsi to a very holy Parish Priest at mass on Snnday and he is very upbeat too. This is the Hand of God exposing eprverts. This can only be a good thing.
I would add though that as the Virgin of Revelation indicates, the Church must now pretty well burn to teh ground by persecutuion and be rebuilt in order to be cleansed of this filth. Burnt right to the very ground and then rebuilt. It is clear now , Our Lady was right it is the only way. The Blood of the Martyrs must cleanse us and save us once again. Hopefully when they come to take us away they will take the Pervert Cardinals , Bishops and priests in the same Paddy Wagon so I get to see it.
I am not going. My son and his family have changed their minds and decided to go afterall. I think the non stop negativity from the media and from Mary McAleese made him reconsider. He figures the Mass is always the Mass and he thinks the secular media would love a small attendance
I can understand where you are coming from. I have mixed feelings though. Glad that the filth is being exposed. But dismayed that the Church that Christ established on earth, his Bride, his Body, is being torn asunder
Well yes, it has been a total shock and an eye opener. But on the other hand it answers a lot of questions; like why people abandoned the Church in such huge numbers? Why the total collapse in Vocations? Why the widespreaed heresy we see everywhere? I understand so much more clearly now Our Lady's messages and why she cries...and why the Sun Danced.
This has been discussed before on the forum - basically the plan was all laid out in the Permanent Instruction of the Alta Vendita.
Yes it has to have been organised. There can be no doubt about it. Very very well organised. But not only against the Church but against whole societies.
I think much depends on how much penance and atonement is going to be done in parishes and by individuals Our pastor is having a special Mass this coming Thursday evening to atone He is asking all to come, and to make visits to the Blessed Sacrament, and to go to Adoration on Thursdays in our parish I am glad he is doing this Don’t forget, Cardinal Wuerl is our Archbishop
We laity must question ourselves whether we would have done any better than the clergy. Perhaps, we would have been worse. Many in the laity have also gone very much astray, including in the vices under discussion. The laity, or a very large portion of them, have embraced materialism and rejected the teachings of the Church that didn't suit them. Many have abandoned the Church, some genuinely due to disapproval of the behaviour of the clergy, but more, I suspect because of rationalising events as giving them licence to do so. Of course, the perverted and their enablers should be expelled, but care must be taken that the offices of priest and bishop must not be the babies thrown out with the bathwater. While denouncing the lavender mob, we must not forget to lend our support to those clergy adhering to the traditional teachings of the Church. If we deal with the perverts, we must be prepared for the condemnation by worldly opinion of our actions as hate-filled homophobia. This may entail far more persecution for Catholics than for the actual crimes of the abusers.
http://www.catholicherald.co.uk/new...-catholic-dioceses-after-pennsylvania-report/ Illinois launches investigation into Catholic dioceses after Pennsylvania report by David V Barrett posted Friday, 24 Aug 2018 Cardinal Blase Cupich, Archbishop of Chicago (AP) The investigation will include the Archdiocese of Chicago, which is headed by Cardinal Blase Cupich The Attorney General of Illinois is to set up a sex abuse enquiry in the six dioceses in the state. “The Catholic Church has a moral obligation to provide its parishioners and the public a complete and accurate accounting of all sexually inappropriate behaviour involving priests,” Attorney General Lisa Madigan said on Thursday. Her action follows on from the recent grand jury report in Pennsylvania that identified 1,000 alleged sex abuse victims of 300 priests during a 70-year period. “We have reviewed the Pennsylvania grand jury report, which identifies at least seven priests with connections to Illinois,” Mrs Madigan’s office stated. “The Chicago Archdiocese has agreed to meet with me. I plan to reach out to the other dioceses in Illinois to have the same conversation and expect the bishops will agree and cooperate fully.” A spokesman for the Archdiocese of Chicago said that they “look forward to discussing our policies and procedures related to misconduct issues with her and her office”. The Archbishop of Chicago, Cardinal Blase Cupich, is a leading figure in the American Church. He is currently in Dublin for the World Meeting of Families. Calling the Pennsylvania report a “catalogue of horrors”, Cardinal Cupich said on Thursday that “a lot of damage has been done” to the faith of believers. Mrs Madigan said that if the Church is not cooperative she “will work with states attorneys and law enforcement throughout Illinois to investigate”. In the neighbouring state of Missouri attorney general Josh Hawley said he was launching an investigation into sex crimes in the Church in the state.
In the following video, Father John Hollowell explains why people like Bill Donohue and his statements are not truly helpful right now imho. In addition, this video starts off very tough but overall the message of the video is hopeful.
https://www.christianpost.com/voice/high-alert-a-new-season-of-spiritual-warfare.html 'Centuries ago, Ezekiel was sitting with the elders of Judah when the Lord pulled back the curtain so he could see what was going on in the inner sancta of the Temple. "Go in and see the wicked abominations they are committing here," said God to his prophet, speaking of Temple leaders. Ezekiel saw seventy elders engaged in abominations in the dark chambers. (Ezekiel 8)' Ezekiel 8 8 And it came to pass in the sixth year, in the sixth month, in the fifth day of the month, as I sat in mine house, and the elders of Judah sat before me, that the hand of the Lord God fell there upon me. 2 Then I beheld, and lo a likeness as the appearance of fire: from the appearance of his loins even downward, fire; and from his loins even upward, as the appearance of brightness, as the colour of amber. 3 And he put forth the form of an hand, and took me by a lock of mine head; and the spirit lifted me up between the earth and the heaven, and brought me in the visions of God to Jerusalem, to the door of the inner gate that looketh toward the north; where was the seat of the image of jealousy, which provoketh to jealousy. 4 And, behold, the glory of the God of Israel was there, according to the vision that I saw in the plain. 5 Then said he unto me, Son of man, lift up thine eyes now the way toward the north. So I lifted up mine eyes the way toward the north, and behold northward at the gate of the altar this image of jealousy in the entry. 6 He said furthermore unto me, Son of man, seest thou what they do? even the great abominations that the house of Israel committeth here, that I should go far off from my sanctuary? but turn thee yet again, and thou shalt see greater abominations. 7 And he brought me to the door of the court; and when I looked, behold a hole in the wall. 8 Then said he unto me, Son of man, dig now in the wall: and when I had digged in the wall, behold a door. 9 And he said unto me, Go in, and behold the wicked abominations that they do here. 10 So I went in and saw; and behold every form of creeping things, and abominable beasts, and all the idols of the house of Israel, pourtrayed upon the wall round about. 11 And there stood before them seventy men of the ancients of the house of Israel, and in the midst of them stood Jaazaniah the son of Shaphan, with every man his censer in his hand; and a thick cloud of incense went up. 12 Then said he unto me, Son of man, hast thou seen what the ancients of the house of Israel do in the dark, every man in the chambers of his imagery? for they say, the Lord seeth us not; the Lord hath forsaken the earth. 13 He said also unto me, Turn thee yet again, and thou shalt see greater abominations that they do. 14 Then he brought me to the door of the gate of the Lord's house which was toward the north; and, behold, there sat women weeping for Tammuz. 15 Then said he unto me, Hast thou seen this, O son of man? turn thee yet again, and thou shalt see greater abominations than these. 16 And he brought me into the inner court of the Lord's house, and, behold, at the door of the temple of the Lord, between the porch and the altar, were about five and twenty men, with their backs toward the temple of the Lord, and their faces toward the east; and they worshipped the sun toward the east. 17 Then he said unto me, Hast thou seen this, O son of man? Is it a light thing to the house of Judah that they commit the abominations which they commit here? for they have filled the land with violence, and have returned to provoke me to anger: and, lo, they put the branch to their nose. 18 Therefore will I also deal in fury: mine eye shall not spare, neither will I have pity: and though they cry in mine ears with a loud voice, yet will I not hear them.
