Hello everyone - I'm asking for some prayers for my nine year old son right now. My 5 kids and I came down with the body flu bug 9 days ago, but my nine year old has had a constant fever for going on 8 days. We're in the hospital and they're running tests, trying to figure out why his fever won't break. He's very weak and hasn't been keeping down any food for almost a week now, and has been delirious, confused and suffering from an ear infection as well. Any prayers are greatly appreciated - I'm 22 weeks pregnant with #6 so the whole pregnancy + body flu + my son's overnight/extended hospital stay are taking a toll on me as well.

DM, You and your son will have all my prayers today. I went through a similar situation with my daughter when she was around 2.5 years old. It was quite horrible. I thank God that she is healthy and is going to be 25 years old soon. Almighty and Everlasting God, the eternal salvation of those who believe in You, hear us on behalf of Your servants who are sick, for whom we humbly beg the help of your mercy, so that, being restored to health, they may render thanks to you in your Church. Through Christ our Lord. Amen
Lord please have mercy on DivineMercy's son. Please help the doctors heal him, and please keep DivineMercy strong and healthy, protecting her baby and other children.

I plead for your mercy and compassion to be with and felt by herself and her family during this distressful illness. Please support her son who is the hospital. Thank you so much everyone!! Sunday morning an Indian doctor informed me that "someone from above" helped them figure out my son's situation! Apparently he had severe sinusitis as well as the far more dangerous mastoiditus - left untreated could have led to brain tumors, blood clots, and permanent hearing loss. They put him on antibiotics immediately and has since had a complete turn around. He is acting more like himself and smiled for the first time in a week . Thank you everyone so so much for all your prayers- apparently even the team of drs on his case thought there was Divine Intervention in running the right tests to figure it out. Now we're just hoping to be able to go home in time for Thanksgiving on Thursday
