Yes, and that particular outline would come to pass prior to the Era of the Divine Will/Interim Coming/Eucharistic Age. The AC is said to come on the scene, openly, in person after the Warning and the Angel of Peace will come after the AC is out there in person in order to give comfort to those faithful ones having to endure his world regime with its persecutions. That is the trial of purification for those converted during the Warning.

We have been promised an 'era of peace' by Our Lady at Fatima. It has not occurred yet, we have never had worldwide peace nor unity of Christians since the time that the promise was made. What we await ( I strongly believe) is the minor tribulation that will usher in the era of peace and almost universal conversion to the Church. Then, when men's hearts cool, once again, the Anti-Christ will come.

As my final post before heading overseas, I'd like to suggest that I believe a few developments need to take place before any antichrist figure could exercise dominion over a significant part of the world. First, the dominant role of the USA, or at least the refuse-to-go-along President Trump, must be removed. This country's position of economic and military influence must be neutralized. Second, the technology to control peoples throughout the world will require the implementation of 5G, I believe. I tend to think we're at least 6 years short of such integration. Finally, open persecution of the Church must become the acceptable norm. We're getting close to such developments, but we're not quite there. Safe in the Refuge of the Immaculate Heart!
While I agree these are benchmarks for the global collapse, I feel this could all be escalated and become a reality very quickly with a global economic collapse, which IMO the world is ripe for at this moment. one has already considered the possibility of the False Prophet actually being an imitation of Christ and not one who assumes the pontificate in Rome. I think this is a plausible interpretation, since he comes after the first beast and seems to use the prodigies to imitate Christ at his first coming. Most eschatologists believe that he will play the role of precursor of Antichrist, imitating St. John the Baptist at the first coming of Christ, this interpretation prevails in eschatological debates, but I consider the possibility that the false christ is the beast that is "like the lamb "
I do not know if my translation was good, but explaining this possible thesis of the false prophet being someone who claims to be Christ, if we study the Islamic prophecies, we see that the Imam Mahdi (Islamic Messiah) will first come as a forerunner of Christ and then Christ himself, who would implant the law of Islam throughout the land, destroying the enemies of the Islamic religion. This seems to be the period of persecution that Christians will give to life, not to renounce the gospel.

I believe Nimrod was the first precursor of the Antichrist, with all the characteristics of him, a tyrant who wanted to create a world state, and a world religion, uniting the whole world against God. The ultimate antichrist could come from the region of ancient Babylon as his former precursor, in my opinion. Hi mb6752. Sorry this reply is so late. But I thought it was remarkable that around the same time of your post, I was also drawn deeply into an analysis of Daniel 9. My results back then were very different from yours. I think both my first attempt and your attempt make similar mistakes. They both assume that "Jerusalem" and the "anointed prince" refer to the ancient city in Judea and Jesus, respectively. I am now convinced that these are incorrect assumptions. Before I get into my updated interpretation, I want to establish that the Hebrew word translated "weeks of years" is "shavuim," a neologism of Daniel. It has always been a mystery to translators what that word means exactly. Well, I think I know. I believe that "Shavuim" is derived from the word "Shavuot" which is the Feast of Weeks, or Feast of First Fruits. It is the 49 day period from Passover to what we call Pentecost. So Shavuim is the plural of Shavuot, the wheat harvest season that takes place in the Spring/Summer. Keep in mind the parable of the sower and related parables about harvesting souls for the Kingdom of Heaven. Very appropriate. Anyway, if you accept the above, it changes the prophetic period in question drastically, from thousands of years to 70 years. A single Shavuot can happen only once a calendar year, i.e., when the wheat harvest happens. In the case of Daniel's prophecy, he is talking about the final 70 year period at the end of the age. A quick outline is as follows: - Year 0 = Papacy of John XXIII begins ("the anointed prince" responsible for Vatican II) in October 1958. - Year 7 (7 "Shavuim") = Vatican II Council closes (action to restore and build Jerusalem starts) in December 1965. - Year 62 (62 "Shavuim") = If I'm doing the math right, within the 12 months following Pentecost 2019, "an anointed one" (a pope or the papacy?) will be "cut off." - The "one week" described in 9:27 uses a different noun, "Shavua," instead of "Shavuim." "Shavua" is the normal Hebrew word for "week" and it translates also to "seven." I take this to mean a normal 7-year period. This final week is apparently to be considered as a unit by Daniel. It should be 2520 days. - If my math is correct, there should be an extra year either before or after the final "Shavua" that is not discussed by Daniel in Chapter 9. - After the final 7 years, the prophecy would have to end before Pentecost 2028, but probably coincides with St. John Bosco's prophecy related to the "month of flowers" which could be referring to May 2027. Pentecost in 2027 is May 24th. Some assumptions: 1. Jerusalem is Christ's Church, not the city in modern day Israel. A common Protestant mistake. 2. The "anointed one" refers to the Vicar of Christ, not to Christ himself. Another common Protestant mistake. 3. The traditional translation of some adverbs in 9:25 is misleading. In my interpretation, the "word to restore and build" comes FROM the "anointed prince," rather than the "word" PRECEDING temporally "the anointed prince."
