In July I asked for prayers from this forum for my Dad, who had just been diagnosed with AML (leukemia) and CLL (another form of leukemia that is much less severe). It was very difficult for the first 6 - 8 weeks, as he was in and out of the hospital often and had a very tough time adjusting to the chemo. After that period things got better and by thanksgiving he was doing very, very well. They did a biopsy at the beginning of January, and the results showed no signs of the AML leukemia in his bone marrow...100% gone!! He still has a small amount of CLL in his bone marrow, but is considered to be in complete remission! Truly miraculous, given remission was never the goal or expected outcome. He is not on a heavy-duty chemo given his age, and only 10% of the patients on this chemo go into remission. He will still have to do chemo regularly, but a smaller amount. Thank you God and thank you prayer warriors of this forum!! God truly does hear our prayers! Still waiting to hear about the cancer test results for my sister. Please continue to pray for her. Thank you!
Amen! May our Almighty and merciful Father also work His wonders in the sister of PotatoSack. Humbly and confidently we ask in Jesus' Name! Safe in the Hearts of Jesus and Mary!
