Diocese of Rome Walks Back Church Closings One Day Later ROME — The Diocese of Rome has issued a new decree partially reversing Thursday’s decision to close all Catholic churches in the city, now ordering that parish and mission churches be reopened. The new decree, signed again by Cardinal Angelo De Donatis, states that “every precautionary measure in the Church must bear in mind not only the common good of civil society but also that singular and precious good of the faith, especially of the least among us.” In modifying Thursday’s decree of church closings, which prohibited the faithful from entering any place of worship, the new decree places the responsibility for entering churches on the priests and the faithful themselves. In this way, the new norms seek to “avoid the appearance of a physical prohibition of entry into places of worship,” the text states, “which could create disorientation and a greater sense of insecurity.” While exhorting the faithful to be mindful of the regulations set forth by the state, and repeating that all Catholics are dispensed from the obligation to attend Sunday Mass until April 3, the decree says that all parish and mission churches are to be reopened to the faithful. The abrupt change in direction for the Church in Rome followed upon a statement Friday morning by Pope Francis, suggesting that “drastic measures” are not always best. Earlier this week, the pope said that priests should have the courage to go out among the victims of coronavirus to attend to their physical and spiritual needs. “We pray to the Lord for our priests, so that they may have the courage to go out to the sick, bringing the strength of the Word of God and the Eucharist, and to accompany health workers and volunteers in this work that they are doing,” the pontiff said on Tuesday. Here in Idaho schools have shut down until month's end at least, public universities have switched to online classes for the remainder of the semester, and quite a few people we know have been told to work from home. While the stores are crazy right now, everything is going to slow down and get quiet real fast. Also this slow down won't end soon--the green mist takes awhile to pass over. It seems to me that this is becoming an opportune moment for the illumination of conscience to happen. Families will be together and the number of distractions minimized. Will this ever happen again on a worldwide basis for an extended period of time? Just makes me wonder...

Well, I knew this day was coming and had many large cases of toilet paper. This time it is just a shout-out by God to prepare, prepare! This isn't nothing yet, but like Jennifer said in www.wordsfromjesus.com "it will come like boxcars" one event after another coming now. Round two, three, four........ will dwarf what round 1 is today.

And now today they have closed our Adoration chapel. I am so sad! About not receiving in the hand, this morning during Mass this scripture rolled over and over in my head: John 20:17 “Do not touch me as I have not yet ascended to the Father.” I guess I have another thing to offer for Lent- not receiving Our Lord. Fiat! May His adorable Will be always done!
I fear this too Lynn. The chapel is my home. Even though since Christmas I have been unable to get there with any regularity because of a series of illnesses.

But the thing you should cherish the most is the complete undoing of your will in Mine, because for one who lives of my Will, there is tight union not only for a quarter of an hour, but always – always. My Will is continuous communion with the soul; so, not once a day, but every hour and every moment is always communion for one who does my Will
It's the same here in Ontario, Canada. Picked over shelves mostly of toilet paper, hand sanitizer, paper towels. It was announced there is no shortage of supply of toilet paper at the manufacturing level so won't be an issue since those stocking up won't need more for many weeks or months. Everything is closing at this point except retail and restaurants it seems. Our school March break starts this week and no school will open for an extra 2 weeks on April 6th. I don't recall past and recent prophecy happening so plainly and obviously ever in my lifetime. Our churches are still open and I haven't heard changes to communion but will know for sure later today. I would say most of this is a total over reaction though. Those older or sick or with compromised immunity should self isolate and everyone else should take precautions as you do with any cold or flu but not change anything. Get sick, stay home as you normally would. God isn't going to allow this lab-made (IMO) virus to do permanent damage to everyone that gets it. Many of those added into the death toll for this would likely die from most flu viruses and I don't mean for that to sound heart-less. There are a lot of scare tactics happening unnecessarily. The fear of this is greater than the virus itself. BUT, I can't control anything so it doesn't even matter what should happen only what is happening! Maybe the dominoes are really starting to fall though. Prayer, fasting, following the prompting of the Spirit and Jesus, I trust in You!
Actually, my husband and I knew this was going to happen four years ago because of the hatred against President Trump. They are on a mission to take him down and will do everything they can to accomplish it. This is what is going on to take down the economy.
Yes. This is what we must remember in these terrible times. Our Lord is always with us in His Divine Will.
