My son's employee and friend Michael's both parents were killed last night during a domestic dispute stemming from a stranger who knocked on their door. Please read the news article and pray for Michael and the repose of the souls of his parents, and for the conversion of this young man who killed them. Michael is devastated! This world is going mad - such darkness! https://www.knoxnews.com/story/news...-knoxville-after-domestic-dispute/2894997001/
Dear Lord!!!! I'm about to offer a Rosary for this intention. May the Lord give Michael the courage to deal with this trauma and the grace to at some stage forgive the murderer.
Jesus please bless and strengthen Michael with faith and please bless the souls of his parents and welcome them to heaven.
Update: They caught the man who murdered this couple - thanks be to God. Michaels dad was an engineer who worked at ORNL in Oak Ridge and his mom was a retired school teacher who worked in a school near us. The girlfriend of this man fled from their house and as far as I know she escaped. The only reason she went up to their door was that it was the only house with the porch light on and it was nighttime. Please continue to pray for their son, Michael.
Incomprehensible. I read the article the day you posted this, for details. Mind boggling. You leave a porch light on for whatever reason (maybe simply forgot to turn it off), and wind up murdered. I hope (pray) the perpetrator's girlfriend does not take on a sense of guilt. She merely sought safety, and very likely never imagined... Praying for everyone concerned, especially Michael.
Thanks for the update, Lynne. I just finished praying for all in that situation and I was wondering about it. I am glad the guy was caught. Sad that he had no control over his murderous thoughts. What a heavy cross for Michael. Will keep praying, for your son as well as Michael.
Thank you everyone for your prayers. Right now my son is unable to locate Michael, but hopefully he is with his sister and her family, so continued prayers are very much appreciated. God bless you all for your compassion and charity. Lynne
