This is so amazing. I wondered a bit about this for this year. Having this priest advise this is so reassuring. It’s true Gods Mercy is unfathomable. TODAY IN GARABANDAL HISTORY APRIL 20,2009 MARY LOLI MAZON DIED. Mari Loli Mazon LaFluer ( one of the 4 girls ) died on April 20,2009. She was only 59 years old. She suffered from Lupus and Scleroderma which ultimately caused fibrosis of her lungs. Loli died surrounded by her loving family and sister Sari (visiting from Spain at the time) . She lived in Massachusettes first,then moved to New Hampshire in 1982.At the time of her death, Loli had been married to her husband Francis for over 35 years. Mari loli had lupus, and her father had Brain cancer and died the night of her wedding. The life of a visionary is not an easy one, it is filled with sufferings that you never hear about. Remember her today in your prayers.
Mari-Loli's 3-day journal written on April 19-20-21, 1967. Several years ago Julia Mazon, the mother of Mari-Loli, one of the four Garabandal visionaries, found some packed-away things long forgotten from the days of the apparitions and beyond. Among these precious objects was a journal Mari-Loli kept while making her retreat in Balmori, Spain, in April 1967. She was not quite 18 years old. Loli's writings are so deeply profound... never before read or published by anyone but what shines through is her simplicity and sincerity in such a way they cannot but help to increase the spiritual life of one's soul. April 20,MOTHER ANGELICA’S BD . I wanted to remember Mother Angelica today because she was instrumental in getting the "Message of Garabandal" video off the ground when she played it on EWTN, and promised to send a tv crew to Garabandal for the Miracle ! It was a great privilege to know her.
I was in Garabandal in April 2009 together with my sister Jenny, the days before Mari Loli died. It was not very crowded for the season. Shops and Coffee bar empty but open. Some of the older villagers were viewing us with interest. We could sense from them something of what these eyewitnesses had experienced some forty years earlier. A woman down in the village approached us. She mentioned that one of the visionairies - Mari Loli - was suffering and struggling (for her life). Knowing she had suffered a lot during her life we took this to our hearts. Little did we know this would be her last days. We arrived at home again on Sunday. On Monday came the sad news that her sufferings were over. She was such a good example for us. Somehow it is a comfort to have been around in her village and the church at the time for her passing away. God bless Mari Loli and her family.
Bringing this to prayer... Many things about Garabandal have been understood incorrectly or incompletely....The 3/4 Popes-End of this "time"/ end of time, Joey's new eyes etc. So I think that perhaps when Our Lady speaks of "within the same year" it is possible she ment a Liturgical year... Our Lady would likely acknowledge the Church's reckoning of a year as opposed to our secular calender. Either way God never brings about authentic prophesied events exactly as the visionary conveys them. It is important to realize the warning could come at any time, and live our lives accordingly.
True. However the “within the same year” references the two events-Warning then Miracle.” Without question even if the Warning is in one calendar year and the Miracle the next, the FACT is the two events will be NO longer than 12 months (calendar) apart l-Warning first-with an April Miracle in whatever year. But yes forget dates, live our lives accordingly. As Our Blessed Mother said: “First we must be very good.” Peace!
