Christy, I think you would like the book "Interior Castle" by St.Theresa of Avila. It's kinda heavy, but so eye opening on many levels. You are hungry for the Faith, it's so refreshing to find someone like that anymore.
That's exactly what came to my mind when I prayed and felt a signal from above "The living will envy the dead" what we worry about now will be irrelevant. We are the ones whose prayers can lessen this coming chastisement but it will take many more people to pray our way out of whats coming.

At this stage I don't know anybody who did but I will let you know if I have any update about it (I am native Italian speaker so perhaps it is easier for me to find info on socials or other means).
update: after some quick research I have found out that there are (as usually it is in similar circumstances) different views on the matter. Some say it is a fake, some say it is not. Well hopefully as things darken more and more people's hearts will turn more and more to God. God is very merciful , as well as just. He is taking things gently at first to give people time to convert.

It has also happened at Trevignano Romano where mystic Gisella Cárdia allegedly receives messages from Our Lord and His Holy Mother.
Wow....that was so honest, and if you were angry and that priest was able to absorb that with so much patience , you really give us hope! I know so many former catholics who are in that same place and need just that kind of counsel. It just demonstrates how it’s possible to bring so many others back home to the faith. Im so happy to see that it was Fatima that was so influential in your decision to become the catholic that you are today. it still baffles me that Fatima and the other apparitions are still unknown to most Catholics including many clergy. The church has dropped the ball on this.....and Our Lady must be very sad that her sons have ignored her. Shame on them for not sharing her visits to us....
I think part of the reason is that much of that is considered "private revelation." So it isn't greatly known. Yes, it is a shame because so much can be taught on this. And so much can be learned. Christ has said that those who receive a small child in his name, receives him. Why do I say this? Many of the revelations were to children. It was three children at Fatima, and at Lourdes, St. Bernadette was 14, but not the brightest in her class. I think some of the other "accepted" apparitions were by children. But usually, these were accompanied by miracles that were seen/tested by adults. Like the "miracle of the sun" at Fatima and the miraculous spring at Lourdes.
I've seen it in Canada and also in Medjugorje. It is unbelievable. Also on Easter weekend last year in Massa Carrara Italy there was in incredible video of a phenomenon which I posted on Facebook. It looked like the Holy Eucharist. It was taken by a man I believe who was praying the Rosary and felt a need to look up.
