Don’t worry about doubts. Even big doubts, that go on for what seems like an age.
Jesus allows this not to break your faith but to purify and perfect it (Jas 1:2-4).
Your in good company, by the way, with your doubts! If Jesus’ first cousin doubted (long before poor ‘doubting Thomas’ was labeled as the doubter) then we all are prone to doubts; when John was in jail prior to his beheadding, he seriously doubted and sent one of his disciples to Jesus asking if he really was the Messiah “And John called to him two of his disciples, and sent them to Jesus, saying: Art thou he that art to come; or look we for another?” (Lk 7:19)

You mentioned losing 2 people from your life who were good Catholic influences - I’ve posted here about my own faith struggles before, and it helps to have this forum to link in with as it is the only place in my life where I can engage with very good holy men and women.

Finally- 2 books Id recommend to help you:

1. The life of Christ (by Fulton Sheen). - it’s a big book, but don’t let that stop you. It’s incredible.
2. Champions of the rosary (by Fr Donald Calloway). (I was recommended this book by a priest in confession. I left the church, but by the time I’d got to my car, the name of the book was fuzzy “what it conversions of the rosary, conversations, confessions.........?”. I threw on a podcast of Taylor Marshall to listen to on the drive home, and lo and behold, he had Fr Donald Calloway on talking about his book “champions of the rosary”. So, Someone definitely wanted me to read that book lol)

Stay with the forum here. It’s an invaluable resource for keeping the Faith, especially in these times.

All forum member brought to on line Holy Mass again this morning.

When the Priest elevates the Paten and Chalice after Consecration, all forum members placed there as recommended by Marian Fathers, asking the Lord to see everyone's needs and concerns, and take care of us all.

Then at the exchange of Peace during Holy Mass, as recommended by my favourite Priest; I send Peace from the Lord to all MOG forum members. A new little prayer since the lock down. Peace.

We've all got to be too blessed to be stressed.
