I would definitely have a conversation with that hospital about the situation to express your concerns. Perhaps you could even request another physician to handle your dad's case.

There’s so many things to remember and prepare for! Every time I walk out the door I feel like I should be coming back with some sort of prepping supply or medicines . One thing I have started doing is putting together my own prayer book. While I have a lot of different prayer books already, I always seem to flip through each book to find “my favorites”. My doctors are pressuring me to get vax saying my natural immunity may have waned and may not protect me against delta and other variants. I check my antibodies. One of my partners still has antibodies 18 months after her infection in early 2020. It’s a simple blood test.
Miker. You should ask your physician to check for your Covid Antibodies. If they’re still reactive you’re still immune. remember at some point the virus will mutate enough to bypass our natural immunity. That’s the nature of viruses. It looks like natural immunity is quite effective for Delta so far though.
Thank you very much for taking time to reply. I’ve actually gone to close by FEHP clinic nearby and had antibody test 3x since last Nov. The manufacturer test I had was DiaSorin which has a cutoff of 14 ( not sure of unit of measurement). But my results since Jan were 146. 103 and most recent 104. I am assuming with results still 7x greater than cutoff, antibodies are present. I am planning to get another test next week. thank you again for your courage in speaking out and for serving your patients.
Hello Brian & All. Regrettably, I decided to get vaccinated. I have several serious health issues but more importantly, my daughter’s aorta dissected and her doctors advised us to get vaccinated. From the time I heard of the vacs I was certain I wouldn’t receive them, then life took an unexpected turn. Sometime ago, I wrote about the anxiety I was dealing with and now it’s paralyzing. We have all been vaccinated and the more I read, the worse it gets! Now, my daughter’s medical team contacted us to say a third vac should be received! She is young, has had cancer and one problematic kidney…is supposed to begin teaching in 2 weeks. I had read about the dandelion extract and wonder if we all should try it? It’s pricey but worth it if it prevents further spike issues. I don’t understand the whole spike thing well but do know the whole thing isn’t looking good. I’m wondering if you or other members have any thoughts to share? I rarely post but do keep everyone in my daily prayers and find the forum a place of peace and solitude. Yes! "Seek ye first the kingdom of God...and all these things shall be added unto you." One of the things I've been doing is buying all the religious books I've been wanting to read. I've had a feeling for a while that a time is coming in which we won't be able to buy Catholic books. I want them safely in my home, for comfort and help in the times to come. In particular, I bought a mini book of the Gospels and Psalms that can be discreetly stuffed into clothing. I decided to do that after reading "The Hiding Place" by Corrie Ten Boom. She was able to keep hers hidden on her person while imprisoned and it was a great comfort to her fellow prisoners when she read to them.

Ella, I pray that you have peace with your decision and focus most on that God loves you and try to carry out His will for you each day. We are in a time of great confusion and that of course extends to this virus and the vaccines. Evidence of which is our own president who said publicly that he would have nothing to do with a vaccine Trump had his hands in making, then he changed his tune and today he is urging people to take it. I took a medication weekly for 12 years that was made and tested using aborted fetal cells. I prayed and sought reconciliation and now I lean on God's promise of forgiveness. What else can we do but pray and lean on Him? Ultimately all of this in His hands and we must trust Him and not fall into despair.
