ROME — U.S. Speaker of the House Nancy Pelosi was not heckled while attending Mass in Rome on Oct. 9, despite a now viral social media report falsely claiming she was forced to leave after being jeered.

According to a spokesperson for Pelosi, Italian government officials made the decision to remove the speaker and her husband from the premises of St. Patrick's Church in Rome's historical center after a nearby anti-vaccination protest turned violent.

Pelosi has been in Rome since Oct. 7 and had met with Pope Francis in a private meeting earlier in the day.

Fr. Steve Petroff, pastor of St. Patrick's, also confirmed that Pelosi's departure was due to nearby violence and told Washington Post reporter Chico Harlan that "there was no heckling."

In a video of the 6 p.m. vigil Mass on Saturday posted on the parish's Facebook account, Petroff told Mass attendees that Pelosi had originally been scheduled to do the second reading during the Mass.

He said it was unfortunate that she had to leave but that "her safety is the most important."

"Speaker Pelosi was a welcomed guest at St. Patrick’s," wrote Petroff in a follow-up email to NCR, "and we hope to see her again the next time she is in Rome."

Nanci Pelosi has the strangest look on her face here; as has the Pope. I wonder if they had strong words in their private audience?

What I see is the look that passes between kindred spirits. The handshake confirms it.

So the woman, Nancy Pelosi, at one of the highest levels of the American government, who has been consistently and successfully funding with American tax dollars the deliberate slaughter of millions of innocent unborn babies is being warmly greeted by the pope and Vatican and invited to participate at a catholic mass as a reader of the gospel. Did anyone including the pope think to remind this former catholic that she is in effect self/ excommunicated by her own murderous actions in the Congress ?
The shame of this is beyond belief. They are both mocking God….but God will not be mocked.

Thank God for a bit of simple , ordinary, common sense.

Lay people get it; why don't the clergy?

Yes, I know. I have found myself a lot happier since switching off on the Holy Father's goings on. I saw I Jesuit I know and like parking his car at their house across the street and thought about going over and asking questions..

    ..but, no, life's too short.:):)

It's all so upsetting. Prayer always keeps me calm. I must pray for them all. :)

You one of the Jesuits across the street I had never even met came over to have a row with me a while back. He came over in a terrible fit of anger; they'd been viewing the forum and were outraged at what they read here.

I just waved him away. I have the most shocking temper and priest or no priest fists might have flew. :) As I say its most upsetting the whole grisly Jesuitical goings on. ..and the Jesuits are behind most of it...
    ...if not directly.. then indirectly.

There is a great case for dissolving the entire Order. I know St John Paul 2 very seriously considered it and was only talked out of it at the last minute.

According to the clip up in post 6, Nancy was escorted out of Holy Mass before she proclaimed any reading due to the protests taking place.

It's good to know protests can have beneficial effects!:)

Safe in the Refuge of the Immaculate Heart!

All I can add here is…..THE TRUTH HURTS! And, yes…they need prayers…but not obedience to their evil.
I’m sorry for those left in this order who might actually be faithful to the church doctrine. They really need our prayers to survive that order.

The Masonic handshake can’t mean anything between PF and Pelosi as women can’t join the order although masons wives have some sort of club. Maybe her husband is a member? I’m inclined to think this is a case of Francis gaslighting - he knows it will get a reaction from the people he hates.

Oh Padraig, a huge part of me wishes you had knocked six bells out of that man but I can see the headlines: ‘man attacks priest’ . It’s perhaps what that Jesuit wanted. They say you can tell the calibre of a person by their enemies…

It's not much good having a shouting match for nothing. It leads nowhere. Theology is not a football game.:);)

All the same perhaps a good quick smack on the jaw...

Wherever that Pelsoi goes there is always death and human sacrifice. Amazing Polly made an amazing video last year linking Pelsoi trips to various murders and false flags, she is soooo evil its insane and now she is pulling major strings in the Vatican. This can only mean the absolute worst case scenario of the church and the world.

I thought the same when I saw that photo. Her visit there is pretty ominous. :(
