Well today I had another miracle! I learned how to digitize photos using my scanner/ printer.I know that may not be a big deal for most of you, but trying to connect my devises that I almost never use was a tech victory for me…lol. These pics were from the rosary cenacle outdoor mass and rosary on October 13th. ( in the 90’s). I didn’t get pics of the sun as it was actually spinning because I was watching it in utter awe…. The sun appeared just behind the backdrop of the two priest in these photos. It was occurring just behind them. Someone had to get their attention or they may have not seen it. View attachment 15878 [] You can see the sun behind them on these photos. These photos do not reflect the large number of people who were actually there. Rosary cenacles from four counties attended. Apologies for the doubles…I can’t seem to delete them

Awww Michael! That’s beautiful! Thank you for sharing that…it’s the most amazing miracle in modern history….Fatima! When I first saw the original Fatima movie in the first grade, like a amazing grace, it’s message and truth stayed with me over my entire life and will to my last breath. A unearned grace from heaven.
Oh wonderful, we showed this movie to our kids by computer recently. They watched the old film intently. My wife wandered off, though...
Beautiful photos. If your son remembers the sun miracle, then this will always be in his mind and can be an anchor for conversations and for a return to Christ.
That’s my hope Michael and deepest prayer. He told me only two years ago that he remembered it…he saw it but was a bit young to understand it. He’s the youngest of those boys in the pic. I truly trust Jesus will bring him back…just a lot of reparation is needed on my part…and on his part too no doubt. But it will happen.
It might actually be better received by children Michael. I just loved the original version. Just recently someone’s posted it to YouTube. Before that I would watch The Song of Bernadette over and over. There is another great movie about St. Bernadette called the Passion of Bernadette…if you’ve never watched it, it’s really wonderful. It’s not too old so it’s not likely on YouTube. It focuses a lot on her life in the convent. She truly was a saint…she suffered without complaint. I just love her.
The film about Bernadette is based on a book written by a German-speaking Jew from Prague, Frank Werfel, who was sheltered from the Nazis during the Second World War by the people of Lourdes. They told him the story of Our Lady and Bernadette in the various safe houses he sheltered in and he vowed to write a novel about it if he managed to get to safety, which he and his wife eventually did. He explained all this in his preface to the novel which, as good as his word, he wrote. Part of this preface is quoted in the Wikipaedia article on the film. A truly heartwarming story, full of grace.
Thank you Beth Also I did post what you were looking for — what to take if you got the vaccine on the coronavirus thread
Yes, I think we watched The Passion of Bernadette a few years ago. It was put on by a parish priest as a movie night in his parish.
