I hope its ok of I ask but are there any catholic in there 20s to 30s. I really enjoy this site. Its hard to find catholics in my area. Do yall find yourself extroverted or introverted I find my self really love spemdimg time with Christ alone Often. PS Wasnt conchita 23 when she became a nurse?
PTR, I love your avatar! When I was teaching catechism my pastor reminded all of the teachers of this and I never forgot it. I repeat something similar when someone criticizes Catholicism in favor of some other Christian religion. I basically explain that the history of the popes go back to Saint Peter who is the rock on which Jesus Christ built His Church. They usually stop and think for a few minutes and the criticism ends at that.+ PS - I have recently noticed quite a few young people posting here. Either way, you are in good company. And Happy Birthday to you!!!
The only one on MOG in their 20s that I know of is Rosarywielder. Happy Birthday! Safe in the Two Hearts!
I'm in my 30's. I think spending time alone with Jesus is the perfect thing to do right now, at adoration preferably. It's how I spent my early 20's. God brought me my husband in a surprise kind of way and I was married at 25. Now that I'm very busy with kids I think fondly back to those early years when it was just me and Jesus, waiting to see the plans He had for me.
Happy birthday! I'm 29. I totally agree with you sentiment about private prayer. It's my favorite part of the day. And I work in construction and coach high school tennis, and therefore have to communicate often, but I definitely am an introvert. But tbh, even if I wasn't, I would work on becoming more introverted, because I've realized how much good one can do with quiet prayer and communication with God. Definitely couldn't cope without it.
It's so nice to have young people here. Happy birthday. My twin granddaughters turned 10 today. It's a great time. Young people faithful to Jesus are the hope for the future and will be the witnesses of the coming age of peace. Hang on to that thought.
Happy birthday! I am 25 and I love alone time prayer. I put most of my rosaries in when I walk so I try to take walks often. Best “therapy” for me is walking in nature or hiking in mountains. That’s where I feel most connected to God, wanting to worship Him and where I pray always joyfully
Happy Birthday! Today is also my wife's b day. I'm 56, and I swear I feel like 23 was maybe 5 years ago. In many ways, I often feel lost.....because I feel like I am still the me in my 20's. But, I don't quite fit in with that generation, yet I dont feel like I fit in with my own generation. If I could tell anything to my 23 year old self, I'd say stay more focused on God ( even though I thought I was, at the time)
