Will keep praying for you both. It is nasty, I know. One day you think you're improving and then boom, it catches you out again and you're floored. Try to get as much bed rest as humanly possible.
I'm sorry if my questions seem insensitive. I didn't realise that you were still suffering from very rough symptoms. With some people it seems to drag on but with far milder symptoms. It's a lot harder for others. Nevertheless, even the mildest symptoms can be extremely wearing when they drag on. I do hope that you both will recover soon.
Still praying for you and your husband HH. May by the Grace of God and the intercession of our Heavenly Mother you recover soon.
My husband's brother and cousin (both fully vaccinated) have Covid. They were at a large Christmas Eve gathering with my husband's family, so probably more have it as well. We weren't there, but have had some kind of strange mild cold for several days. My sister's family has been sick with a bad sore throat and fevers for a while now. It seems like everyone in the world is sick!
I'm 58. I've never known a time like it for sickness. I blame the lock downs which hammered people's immune systems, and also led to delays in treatment. Also the leaky vaccines which helped spread covid and prevented herd immunity.
Bumping this thread…..for all those that are still dealing with COVID, praying that you and your families will soon be well. As we have seen so many times on this forum, prayer is powerful! Peace
HH glad you are on the mend....and your husband too.... My dear friend, Len is in ICU with Covid. He is 55, normal BMI, no health issues. He runs almost daily. He just made temporary promises with me in Carmel, last year. He is also my church friend for over 20 years. His wife and I are very close. They may put him on a ventilator today.....we hope not! Any prayers would be greatly appreciated, we need a miracle.
Praying for Len! It seems I am hearing this so frequently these last weeks. One acquaintance made it through thanks be to God. Out of the hospital and on the mend. But it was touch and go. With God all things are possible!!! Praying Sacred Heart novena for all who are battling covid.
You know I can’t figure this out. I have yet to get Covid. I have been around and in close proximity to numerous people that have been stricken with it and I have yet to be sick. Not even a sniffle. The last time I was sick was in the fall of2019 and I was very very sick for what seemed an extraordinarily long time but I don’t recall losing taste or smell. Maybe the Good Lord is looking after me but I am just amazed. I guess I have been more worried about my loved ones than me getting sick. Of course I say this and perhaps tomorrow I will be saying pray for me I’m in the hospital.
There seems to be no rhyme or reason with Covid. No matter how many precautions one has taken, you just never know when your number will be up. It's all in God's Hands.
We still take the extra D, C, and add extra zinc if we feel cold symptoms. And then it is the Coldeze zinc which is in cough drop form and they are spread out. And have raw honey occasionally. Doing great for ages 78 and 72.
