Posting this for parents to understand the issues with tik tok - and adults too! The Chinese use tik tok very differently in their country and in the West. Caution, there are several excerpts of lude videos shown as part of the author's analysis of how the app is used in the West vs in China. Also, I'll also post this very good interview here of Alan Watt. He was a Scottish author, researcher and thinker (but lived in Canada, in Ontario I think). In this video he discusses plans implemented in the west for decades to dumb the people down and corrupt morals. His views aren't from a religious perspective, but what he says is very interesting for anyone who wants to understand all the actions that came together to change and corrupt society over the decades. The use of culture (through media) is central and it's what the Chinese are doing to us also. People have to resist this stuff and remove smartphones from our kids! This stuff is designed to be addictive on purpose.
Here is another a very good video to watch again or share. An interview 40 years ago with soviet defector Yuri Bezmenov. They talk about the subversion occurring in the West and how the Communists were going about it. https://rumble.com/vroc9k-g.-edward-griffin-interviews-yuri-bezmenov-1884.html Here, Del Bigtree interviews G. Edward Griffin about that interview with Bezmenov and events since then https://thehighwire.com/watch/
I don't consider this a Miracle but it is still a good story: First though, I must say, I hope it is not an exercise in vanity to mention this, around 75 people or so died in those tornadoes in Kentucky. They should be foremost in my prayers. Our Lady Statue Perfectly Intact After Tornado Rips Through Kentucky Catholic Church - (churchpop.com) There in front of the Church. I see some buildings to the right, so, apparently, not everything was flattened. I thought to myself, why did it survive? Maybe it's made of concrete but no, it's like a bronze statue or something, one can knock on it and see it is hollow. That said, we actually have the same statue at our church. So, I look at it, maybe some blessings can be given nonetheless.
BREAKING: U.S. Forces Under Rocket Attack At Base In Iraq https://www.dailywire.com/news/breaking-u-s-forces-under-rocket-attack-at-base-in-iraq
Did any of you notice how they changed our traditional green and red Christmas colors all over the world? Christmas in Paris, London, Spain, New York etc., looked like Disney World in the summer. What’s with the pastel colors? Is it all about globalism?
Try doing a search using the term "attack on u.s. military base today" Just copy it into your search engine without the quotes and you'll find articles from ABCNews, Wall Street Journal, and Reuters, to begin with.
I have been noticing this trend in the stores and in our neighborhoods for a few years, that there are fewer traditional ornaments and colors, but many new decorations and colors - rainbow colours, pastels and other non-traditional themes. I have to go out of my way to find traditional items because the stores mostly have sections of pastel colours and very pagan decorations with nature themes with owls everywhere, squirrels, birds, branches, flowers etc - a bit like we are to construct some sort of tree of mother nature. And this year, a strange creature is everywhere in stores and public displays: the faceless christmas gnome. What this creature has to do with our feast is beyond me but the little guys were everywhere and shoppers apparently find them cute and buy them. To me, gnomes are pagan and probably also cursed, but I guess that makes me sound like an old fogey. And most of the stuff is made in China! The other thing that I notice but it is not specific to Christmas, is the growing number of religious figurines that have no faces. I was told several times to avoid buying them by priests/exorcists (see related article here: https://spiritdailyblog.com/spiritual-warfare/what-about-faceless-angels). I was very sad to see our parish get a new nativity with faceless figures placed at the foot of the altar. I would avoid looking at it since the Holy Family was faceless! They are usurping our traditions and taking people away from the meaning of Christmas. I honestly wonder how this feast will matter to people with no faith in a few years because of the way it is increasingly presented as just a big end-of-year woke party.
Another statue that survived, this time those blazing wildfires in Colorado! This one seems to me like a miracle, only thing left from the house that was still standing and was not damaged at all. God is always in control From the article: An unexpected symbol of faith emerged: a statue of the Blessed Mother survived the inferno practically unscathed. The wildfire that tore through Boulder County on December 29 has been quelled, but it took a tremendous toll. By the time it was corralled, thanks to the tireless efforts of firefighter teams, it had eaten up 6,000 acres and about 1,000 homes. The incident has upended the lives of hundreds in the towns of Marshall and Superior, but through the gloom, an unexpected symbol of faith emerged. A statue of the Blessed Mother survived the inferno practically unscathed. Charred, but fully intact, its image has been circulating on social media. Mary is posed with her head bowed and her arms outstretched towards the ground, almost as if she is gesturing to the rubble around her. The image is a striking juxtaposition between the uncanny serenity of the quiet ruin of a house and firefighters still working to snuff a blaze in the background. Read how the family took this sign with great humility after finding their home in rubbles. Well, totally agree with Andree. It’s pagan. The colors I believe are United Nations colors. Just go into YouTube and click on Paris Christmas, etc., and you will see a rainbow of yellow’s, blues, pinks, lavender and these neon lights that are so annoying. Even the Ángels on St James in London look like dragon flies. Not one nativity scene anywhere. I love the warm white lights on a tree, but when you add the pastel decor it loses the Christmas charm. Plus the red in Christmas symbolizes the blood of Christ, and the green is rebirth. The holly with its thorny leaves are used to remind us about His crown of thorns. These are traditional colors for good reason.
I noticed on FB starting about two years ago the images of owls. It's really kind of strange how so many people are fascinated with them. Big eyes, no expression.
This makes me think about the Amish who prohibit dolls with facial features fearing a graven image on a doll, or photograph could be possessed by demonic spirits. I agree andree, that this 'facelessness' has become a disturbing trend. When faces are removed, especially from nativity figurines, they becomes cold, unnatural, and superstitious. I can imagine how upsetting it must have been to see this new nativity scene at the foot of the altar. They want to erase everything that is sacred and holy. Yes, owl images are everywhere. Big eyed creepy dolls too. Funny thing, I recall that big eyed owls, dolls, and pastel Christmas decorations were also popular in the late 60's early 70's when we were going through intense social, religious, and political upheavals. Interesting that these New Age trends have appeared again, only it's much worse this time around.
