Ukrainian Bishops asked the Pope for this apparently?



All I could think of is when I heard this is: "salvation will come from the East."

This really seems like great news.

 

Yesterday I posted Pope Francis will consecrate Russia and the Ukraine . EWTN has announced they will air that consecration, calling it the " Celebration of Pennance".

Lifesite News is asking that we all ask our Bishops to join in the Consecration..

 

The bigger question is why didn't the Pope ask them ? That was Mary's original request.

 

The reason I am posting this is NOT to start up another debate about the pope, but to explain to you WHY he hasn't received an invitation to come to Moscow.
He obviously isn't getting one from Putin anytime soon, his hope was to get one from Patriarch Kirill of the Moscow Orthodox Church, but after reading this article today, you can see they are on opposite sides of the purpose and justification of this war in the Ukraine.

It's wonderful that the Pope is doing this. Let's keep the Five Saturdays, many times, and let's Pray for Peace in Russia and the Ukraine. I am hopeful that some of the Bad Conditional Prophecies can be ameliorated or mitigated because of this. Let's keep Praying those Rosaries and see how things go. This is Very Good News!!!
