Be sure to offer this up PF. You might as well save some souls on this Way of the Cross! Praying! O Mary conceived without sin, pray for us who have recourse to thee!
I bet she is loving all the kiddies around. I wish I had some. I did babysit for my grandson when he was three to eight. Then my son told me he didn't like my babysitting. I asked why and he said I was too 'lenient'. It was like a knife plunging into my heart. I went home and cried. So then we moved to the opposite side of the country, I didn't want to get in his way . . .
I'm glad you had him for those five years. Do you get to visit at least once a year? Safe in the Two Hearts!
We went up north last June when he turned 11. First time I saw him in three years. He’s autistic so I wasn’t sure if he would remember us. But he did, when we walked in it was like we had never left. Our son gave us an inflatable bed to sleep on that went flat in the middle of the night, not easy for me at 72 and my husband almost 80 but we roughed it out for three days ha! Son says they will come to visit us this summer since we moved halfway back to the state south of his. We are hoping.
A grandparent’s love is different from a parent’s love, imho. Apples and oranges. Vive la difference!
Oh Katfalls I am so sorry. The pain of words callously thrown into the air are hard to bear, especially by our own children. I pray that he has asked forgiveness for the hurtful words.
My youngest has a high fever again. He finished his antibiotics for pneumonia over a week ago...so I don't know if he's having a relapse or if this is something new. We have an appointment in the morning. I don't know why he's sick so often. It's been almost every month for an entire year now, after a perfectly healthy first year. I had a good cry today over it. I guess God's distracting me from the Grandma situation, which pales in comparison to the distress over my toddler's perpetual sickness.
Most Holy Queen, carry this toddler to your Son, that He may lay His hands upon him and heal the cause of these repeated bouts of sickness. May all ancestral ties be healed and Your Peace be upon this child and family. O Mary conceived without sin, pray for us who have recourse to thee!
