If you make a direct barb at a fellow poster, and it’s obvious to whom that barb is directed, even if couched in “polite” words in order to pretend that’s not exactly to whom you’re referring, is that not something from which that poster may subsequently defend themselves, and which self defense is something to be expected?

Let’s not play games and hide behind language employed just so one can claim plausible deniability when one is called on it.

Thanks for your help, Brian. I appreciate it.
It will all come out in the wash. Jesus, I trust in
    You. Take care of everything.

To be clear, I wasn’t directing to any person. Sedevacantists also speak of a false church, but they claim it showed up in the 1960s because of all the scandals. I think the prophecies of the false church will be fulfilled in the near future disguised as a new renewal based on Vatican II, only this time under a hermeneutic of rupture from the past.

Besides which, I said that there were people on this forum, plural, not PERSON, singular. I meant that, more than one person. Not an innuendo, although it has been construed as such.
Sorry, PNF, that you took umbrage at my observation. And I don’t understand why you would want documentation from a person who posts a general observation when that would more than likely be detraction or calumny. I was hoping to avoid that, and I think I managed.
I honestly don’t think I have any enemies on this forum so it puzzles me why you would speak like that.

NUR-SULTAN, Kazakhstan — A large interreligious conference Pope Francis attended in Kazakhstan this week had the welcome aim of promoting peace and harmony, but also risked giving the impression of a “supermarket of religions” that relativizes the one true religion of the Catholic Church, Bishop Athanasius Schneider has said.

The auxiliary bishop of Astana, Kazakhstan, who took part in the Pope’s Sept. 13-15 visit to the Central Asian country, said the meeting’s aim, to promote harmony and peace, was “good,” but added “there is also a danger that we the Catholic Church should not appear simply as one of the many religions.”

I just read this in its entirety. Mark answers all of our questions with simplicity and grace. I am glad you posted this, garabandal . I have no more confusion about PE Benedict’s intentions and actions. This is a must-read for those looking for clarification that Francis is the Pope. And PEB has duly and fully and purposefully resigned. The article also clears up the confusion surrounding the Bishop in white controversy.

Thank you for your encouragement to read MM's blog, it was so well written. Agree, he did an excellent job of cutting through the confusion. His final thoughts truly nailed it...
"I personally believe that this pontificate is precisely what Divine Providence has allowed, due to unrepentance, in order to bring about the Passion of the Church so that the Kingdom of the Divine Will may, at last, descend upon a purified Bride."

I also join you in thanking garabandal for bringing this to our attention.

Instead of Kingdom of Divine Will, I will call it Triumph of the Immaculate Heart of Mary. But everything else is exactly what I think is happening.

I'm very confused by all of this, but I'm not troubled by the fact that I don't understand. Jesus give us the strength to embrace our cross today and follow you to our death out of love for you.

This is an amazing talk by Fr Jim Blount, which I didn't know where to post but am putting here because of our exchanges about the LOTR.

Fr Jim shares a story about an experience with holy souls who were waiting to be evangelized in order to ascend into heaven. His story immediately brought to mind the LOTR scene of the Holy Souls who agree to help Aragorn in the last battle and afterwards are released into Peace. It gave me chills to realize this!

His story is very important. He asks the souls of natives for forgiveness twice! For whatever it's worth, he also says something very important about criticism of the Holy Father.

This is a totally miraculous and life-changing video. I am so glad you posted it, Andree. It is indeed very important to heed his words against criticizing the Holy Father. It is disobedience. He says that we should pray for him, instead. Imho, LOTS of prayers are needed for the Holy Father. It is God's job to take care of the papacy.
I truly believe that Fr. Blount has received many charisms and gifts. He is so willing to share them with us.

Regarding criticizing the Francis how would someone explain why he is not getting shot with Lucifer sauce without in some way criticizing the Francis? The only way to explain it is to say the Francis is endorsing something he has no authority to, which would be critical of his actions and words.

I think we let the hierarchy handle it. If they can’t, God will. You might want to listen to what Fr Blount says.
We have our own business and mission in this life and must work out our salvation in fear and trembling. I think we all know when the Pope is off the beam. We just pray all the more fervently. We can always pray that the truth will come out and people will be helped. As Tibbi posted on another thread, there are some people who start their days reading about the
Pope. It’s up to God in His Church to declare an antipope.
