Prayers for my daughter

Please say a prayer for my (somewhat) estranged daughter. She is out in BC Canada and I am in Ontario. She left in 2012 and I have not seen her. We do have a better relationship now but we could not go out there for many reasons. She has blood clots all of a sudden, many, and in her lung. Maybe this is to make her think about her life, I don't know, but it is very dangerous so please pray for her and her conversion. Thank you.

Sparrow, sorry to hear about your daughter. I will pray for her. And I think you are exactly right that it could be God's little intervention. If you can, try to get her to receive the Sacrament of Extreme Unction, if possible using the traditional rite. May God bless you and your daughter.

Sparrow, I'm praying that the doctors determine what caused this and that they give her the best care possible. I'm praying for a full recovery for your daughter.+

PS - Is your daughter being treated with a blood thinner?

Yes. They have her on apixaban for the clots and hydromorphone for pain. Her oxygen level is at 97% hence why they sent her home from the hospital I guess, even though her lungs are only working at 1/4 capacity(?) She feels winded and dizzy most of the time. She has three large pulmonary embolisms plus a bunch of smaller ones. She will see the specialist on the 27th so we'll know more then. Seriously debating flying out there but the cost is prohibitive.. If God provides somehow, we might go. We'll see.

I too had an estranged daughter. She lived in Calgary,Canada. She sadly died a few years ago.

I know well the grief that overcomes a mother whose child has cut herself off from her family.
