Honestly Terry I think He is allowing the world the life and alliance they have chosen...foolishly like Eve allowing the serpent to beguile. And those who love Him must carry this cross of suffering with our worldly brothers and sisters and offer for their conversions. Yesterday I was listening to various prognostications--all of them dire--and I lost my peace. It only returned as I prayed my bedtime Rosary. "He will keep in perfect peace whose mind is staid on Thee" scripture tells us. Keeping my eyes on Jesus purposefully every minute though its very very hard.

Thanks for that reminder, AED. Not so much for myself or my family, but I grieve over the multitude who are blind, who out of fear will look to government for peace and stability. The covid-19 debacle made evident that most will step in line with governmental dictates with little or no discernment. Yes, keeping my eyes on Jesus purposefully every minute though its very very hard, is the only means of true peace! James 3: 16 For where jealousy and selfish ambition exist, there will be disorder and every vile practice. 17 But the wisdom from above is first pure, then peaceable, gentle, open to reason, full of mercy and good fruits, without uncertainty or insincerity. 18 And the harvest of righteousness is sown in peace by those who make peace.

I agree. I actually asked God if He would work miracles to provide in such a situation and I received a pretty miraculous answer... So I won't waste any time in fear.
