Cheers Brian, I already eat way way way to much chocolate which has me thinking that my potassium shouldn't be low I also have a decent enough diet as I love to cook and dont do anything processed or out of a tin, has to be fresh I had originally thought that the asthma inhaler that I use may be causing the leg cramps as it mentions on the drug information leaflet that the inhaler can strip electrolytes from the body but I dont use the inhaler often enough for that to happen. Thank fully I have an indicator now with the potassium so darn good chat with the doc next week he is very well aware of the bad leg cramps at night as he has prescribed quinine a few times.
I eat a banana a day, but ran out of money at the end of the month and again had leg cramps. I had no idea low potassium could be the culprit. So SS check's in and back on bananas, cramps gone. Thanks for the info!
Very interesting. I try to eat bananas too. I see now it may be a necessity. I know what you mean about more month at the end of the money. Its very tight here too.
Calcium pills are too big for me to swallow without choking, so I take the chocolate calcium chews. They are like desert, unfortunately they are expensive. I try to wait for a buy one get one free sale.
