Then then Pope said something that upset the Russian state, then the Pope apologized and yesterday Moscow accepted his apology and opened up dialog with the Pope. December 17, 2013 I wanted to share something special with you today. I received a letter from Conchita on this date, after the passing of her husband Patrick. I wanted to post the last sentence of her letter, it's TRULY PROFOUND. Fr Calloway wrote a devotional book on St. Joseph where I believe He references this or other saints/visionaries that say the same… Mary said the greatest way to honor her is to honor/pray to St. Joseph as he is the greatest of the saints.
There is also St Consencius who was a young martyr whose feast day is in April during the week period but nothing is known about him in the martyrology. Interesting that Our Lady kissed the makeup case that became a pyx during the Spanish civil war and that the Eucharistic martyr died probably with a pyx on him.

3 Girls entered convents. Many people have commented over the years “ Why didn’t the girls become Nuns after the apparitions ? Most people don’t know that actually 3 of the 4 girls did enter convents ! Conchita, Jacinta, and Mari Loli did for a short time, then left for different reasons, and became boarding students instead. Mary Cruz did not go at all. On February 7,1966 Conchita (on her 17th birthday) enters the Discalced Carmelites Missionaries of Pamplona. On February 13,1966 she has a locution from Jesus, where he tells her this was not his wish to be here. Both Jacinta and Mari Loli were 16 at the time they decided to enter a convent. On September 30, 1965 they left for the Sisters of Charity of St. Ann, in the Aragon town of Borja. Jesus said to Conchita: “ I choose you in the world, that is, in the normal condition of the faithful, so that you would remain in it. “ I guess our Lord had other plans and vocations for the girls, to remain in the world, and not hidden away in a convent. Miracle day coincides with a rare Church event ! February 7, 1974 Q. You have said that the Miracle of Garabandal will coincide with a great event within the Church. Did Our Lady tell you what that event will be, and can you add anything to what you have already said about this matter? CONCHITA. Yes, I know what the event is. It is a singular event in the Church that happens very rarely, and has never happened in my lifetime. It is not new or stupendous, only rare, like a definition of a dogma — something like that in that it will affect the entire Church. People Never Die. “NEEDLES “ magazine, Spring Issue 1974 page 9,10 The Visionary Conchita indicates in her report of July 20,1963 location with our Lord that she wondered if people had to wait until the resurrection of all the dead at the end of the world before they could go to heaven. So she said to our Lord “when people go to heaven are they dead? “ Our Lord replied “People never die”. At least 10 times after his death, Father Luis Andreu conversed with The Visionaries while they were in ecstasy. According to F. Sanchez -Ventura-Pascual ( “Apparitions of Garabandal” page 82) The little girls reported that they had not seen him ( Fr. Luis) but had heard him speak in exactly the same voice he had used while alive. His voice proceeded from a light like the sun with rays falling from it. Conchita writes in her diary entries of August 15th and 16th (1961) “ A few days after Father Luis' death, the Blessed Virgin told us that we were going to talk with him. at 8 or 9 in the evening the Blessed Virgin appeared to us smiling very, very much as usual. She said to the 4 of us “ Fr. Luis will come now and speak with you.” A moment later he came and called us one by one. We didn't see him at all but only heard his voice. It was exactly like the one he had on Earth. when he had spoken for a while giving us advice he told us certain things for his brother Father Ramon Maria Andreu. He taught us some words in French and German and in English and also taught us to pray in Greek . Father Ramon has expressed his astonishment , stuperfaction” at the unchallengeable array of rigorously exact details provided by the Seers regarding Father Luis’ Funeral as well as other messages his brother had for him.
August 4,1961 OUR BLESSED MOTHER'S VOICE IS HEARD ! Conchita recounts the the story in the book "Our Lady comes to Garabandal" . She said " I was returning from the fields,we met my Godmother Maximina Gonzalez, she was very excited and said this to us "Do you know the voice of the Blessed Virgin has been heard on a tape recorder ?" " What did she say I asked ? " She replied " Loli and Jacinta asked her (The Blessed Virgin) "Speak, Please Speak" and the people heard an answer : " No, I wont speak " . My Godmother told me that people began to cry because they were very moved at having heard the Blessed Virgin's voice. The owner of the tape recorder (Angel Dominguez Borreguero, director of the Psychiatric Hospital of Salamanca) shouted, "I will send this to the pope!" Naturally the people wanted to hear the marvelous voice again so they played the tape again, but at the proper place they heard nothing. “SHE WENT IN HASTE TO THE MOUNTAIN" CHAPTER 7 on page 156. * I know of no other apparition where Mary's voice was heard by people other than the Visionaries themselves.
Conchita’s “Kris Kringle” It still amazes me to this day how Conchita does everything in her life ( and that of her family ) with a “spiritual “ and a non secular basis. I called her years ago ( asking how her Christmas was ) , and was reminded of how she and her family celebrate Christmas , and I’m pretty sure it’s different than anyone else’s celebration, I’ve ever heard of. Their form of a “ Kris Kringle” ( where you secretly get a gift for someone , and reveal it later ) is quite unique. It actually starts on Thanksgiving evening. They pick a random name of a family member secretly, and for the entire duration of the Advent season, they do a daily rosary for the person they picked. On Christmas day , the only gift given to your person is a Mass card for their intention, revealing who finally was praying for you the whole Advent season. She still does this today ! Can you imagine telling your family we are not exchanging gifts, and saying rosaries instead ? She is a beacon of holiness and humility. She finished by saying to me , “ What are you doing for Jesus for his birthday ? “
