I always tell my kids to say a Hail Mary when we see an ambulance. I just came across this amazing story on the power of one Hail Mary! https://www.spiritofmedjugorje.org/index.php?ArticleSeq=173#featuredArticle
…my grandmother, who passed in 1984 ( like yesterday, to me), always said a Hail Mary when an ambulance passed. I’ve never forgotten it, and try to do it, myself. As an aside, she would be utterly appalled at the current state of the country and popular culture.
Taught my 9 and 7 year old to pray our queen's prayer in Latin I tell them every time they said it the devil gets a good beating they love it
Incredible story, thank you for Heidi. The elementary school that I went to was near a hospital. Whenever an ambulance passed, the sisters would stop the class and ask us to say a Hail Mary. This is something that I do until this day. Wouldn't it be wonderful to get to heaven and meet the people who we prayed for.
