Good video. I think this whole reaction is a pivot to refocus attention away from the war in Ukraine. These balloons are nothing new. There have been several of them over the years and they almost never make the news cycle.
I agree, we are in WW3. Did you see the video of the German minister saying clearly on camera that they are at war with Russia? I tuned out of all this war stuff for a while. To be honest I am shocked that Europe has not had bombs dropped all over it by now. When they blew up the pipeline and the bridge, I really thought that's it, Russia will not hit Europe. I suppose he is very patient.
The West has been relentless in poking the bear. To what nefarious end i can only imagine but at this stage truth and justice have long since been buried. I do not trust the western powers. Period. (That is not to say Putin is lily pure but there is something very "rotten on the state of Denmark")
And yet, although the Russians outnumber their opponents between 8- and 10-1, no artillery has been supplied to the Ukraine, from what I've seen. Just shock-and-awe weapons which are unlikely to faze the Russians very much. Meanwhile, are the European members of NATO slowly disarming themselves?
Hundreds of US Howitzers have been sent. I've seen quite a few videos of them being destroyed by drones as well as Russian artillery pieces. Russian artillery outnumbers Ukraine's considerably. It has always been central to how Russia fights ground wars. Eastern European countries have given a great deal in this conflict because they obviously don't want to border Russia. The rest are sending surplus. We may be putting ourselves into a bit of a pickle with the reserves of ammunition we are sending.
In the video that Steve D posted, it was mentioned that the war will most likely be over by the summer or fall. If this timeline is correct, and since it seems like Ukraine is in a hopeless situation, there may be a chance that Pope Francis will travel to Moscow sooner than we think.
Yeah, after it had traveled over the entire US and likely transferred its data back to Xi. <-- Not intended in any way toward you QuD. The whole situation is just ludicrous.
Well it is crazy Don. Shooting down the first balloon that traversed the country is all over msm, but the incident over Montana...nothing.
No worries Don.. Two things come to mind. How embarrassing would it have been if the pilot missed And that was one hell of an expensive balloon to pop the cost of the missile cost us tax payers a cool 300 thousand dollars and that's not including the air craft flight time..it's just sinful
Yes, we are sending it from stockpiles we have stored such as Israel. NATO countries use standarized caliber ammunition and should be able to help fill the gap.
