PNF - here we try to bring about a polite discussion of information and facts. Please don’t shoot the messenger. Just comment on the facts, and prove them to be true or false. My humble suggestion.

On another note, this Catholic YouTuber seems to make a HUGE point here, and it is the first time in this pontificate I hear anyone bring this up:

    “Caritas et Claritas”

  3. But it still wouldn't mean that we're excommunicated for thinking that an antipope is one before he's declared as such.

  4. Yes one day at a time. It's about all we can handle and we do not
I feel we are because it is the whole world, not just a city or town. What's going on is unprecedented at the level it's at right now.

The laity may just save the Church. The remnant. I will point out to my family the evil that is being forced on us. It's like we are being abused for being faithful and it's gonna get worse. I have my own ideas on this subject but yes as St Francis said, God will send us a destroyer.

I am a simple Catholic who loves Jesus and the church he founded. Francis has issued another document on climate change where he attacks the west especially America and lauds China. He also says that ways have to be found to implement climate change measures that will be effective, can be monitored, draconian and obligatory by laws on everyone. It's a totally communist outlook.
If you want you can call him the Pope. He is now off my radar as he has gone completely rogue.
I'm focusing on the Lord and following the faith and traditions handed down to me.

He was not elected as Pope to be a Climate or Environment Expert or to Pontificate on them

But that doesn't seem to stop him thinking he is one.

In fact he appears to consider himself an expert in just about anything under the sun.

Apart from Theology. He admitted he us not too hot on that, which is very apparent

This I believe made a good point regarding charity and clarity. However, towards the end of the video, this youtuber put up Pope Francis' statement and he says: (I'm paraphrasing) that "some would interpret that as Pope Francis is saying, yes [to same sex blessings], others that he is saying - no you can't ". I do believe that this man, by saying this, is introducing a lack of clarity.

In their logical construction, Pope Francis' words are crystal clear (in my opinion - if that is not an oxymoronic statement). Pope Francis says that pastoral prudence MUST adequately discern whether a blessing can be given which does not convey a mistaken concept of marriage. So Pope Francis has with these words conceded that same sex couples ("one or more", NOT the UNION) CAN IN PRINCIPLE - be given a blessing, SUBJECT TO the pastoral discernment of the priest.

This concession is reinforced by the Pope's statement that priests who are discerning whether to give a blessing can't always be judging, EXCLUDING etc. (paraphrasing).

YES IN PRINCIPLE, YES (subject to conditions) is a logical subset of YES in a binary choice of YES / NO.

So to bring clarity to the question of whether the Pope has said yes or no to same sex blessings, I believe it must be said that he has conceded Yes (in principle).

For Catholics understanding where Pope Francis is coming from is a little like going up a mountain.

Some get to the top a lot quicker than others

But so long as they do get there

As Ralph Martin has pointed out personnel is policy. Just look at the heretics he has sorrounded himself with. There is not one I can see that follows the teachings of Christ to the letter.

He has given a green light for priests to bless same sex couples after "pastoral discernment".

One hundred percent Yes, there is no equivocation.

You would have to be deliberately obtuse to argue otherwise.

When the current pope was elected most knew nothing about him, his views, background etc.

Leonardo Boff, one of the founders of liberation theology, silenced twice by Cardinal Ratzinger in 1985 for his Communist views then wrote:

Francis isn't a name; it's a plan for a Church that is poor, simple, gospel-centered, and devoid of all power. It's a Church that walks the way together with the least and last, that creates the first communities of brothers and sisters who recite the breviary under the trees with the birds. It's an ecological Church that calls all beings those sweet words "brothers and sisters". Francis was obedient to the Church and the popes and at the same time he followed his own path with the gospel of poverty in hand. …

It's worth mentioning that he's a pope who comes from the Great South, where the poorest of humankind are and where 60 percent of Catholics live. With his experience as pastor, with a new view of things, from below, he will be able to reform the Curia, decentralize the administration, and give the Church a new and credible face.

The pope later sent him a letter to thank him for his support

The writing was on the wall. We just didn’t want to see it and the rest is history.

    That was a new low.

    Even for this pope.

To see the successor of Peter begging Bill Clinton to save the world from climate change before it’s too late.

I listened to it yesterday! I agree. He brings up an excellent point. We desperately need clarity.

'Let your yes be yes and your no be no, anything else is from the evil one' Matt. 5:37. If ever anyone needed to ponder on this, for the sake of his personal salvation and that of millions of others, it is Francis. However, we his victims, can be CERTAIN, having it on the very best authority, that Francis' obscurity and obfuscation comes FROM SATAN and so must ignore his words.

At least now we are all becoming increasingly aware that he is, and has, constantly played a 3 card trick in which he seeks to confuse and mislead and to leave the observer frustrated and ignorant of his true positions on fundamental matters. We have biblical support in ignoring him now we know that he is incapable or unwilling to be transparent.

Jesus said that we should be innocent as doves but wise as serpents.

It seems to me that those who question Pope Francis are very, very innocent but have just no serpent. Whereas Francis and friends have no innocence but loads of serpent.

Which is why Pope Francis is running rings round them. They have no conception of street smarts , of dirty pool. They keep assuming that in some sense he is as much a gentleman as themselves, nif somewhat misguided.
