Lovely. I read somewhere that thoughts of the Passion were never out of Mary's thoughts and heart, may it never be far from ours. The Cross! The Cross! The Cross!
I met a friend tonight who is on stage 4 cancer. She was given no hope 2 years ago but thank God is still here. She has more scans in the next 2 weeks. I gave her my 7 sorrows rosary and a leaflet on how to pray it. I told her pray for healing and I will also pray for her. I would appreciate any prayer you could say for Paula.
Yes! At the hospital one quickly learns: patients don't seek a bunch of wisdom, but a listening ear, which then opens a heart to prayer!
Praying for your friend Paula. If I may, could I also ask for prayers for my sister, Margie, who also has stage 4 breast cancer which has also gone into her back. Thank you everyone.
I have three images that have remained relatively the same for me over many years. The most strange, is that I see myself in a quagmire of mud and filth, the place of the quagmire seems to be near an old time pagan temple (because I see remnants of pagan idols around the swamp) and I am trying to get out of the quagmire. Standing on banks of this quagmire I see Our Lady and she has placed a rope around my waist and is pulling me out of this quagmire. I see myself half emerge from the swamp still covered in mud about waist deep in the mud. Over the last few years I've asked our Lady whether I have emerged from this mud? The answer lately is encouraging, as I am shown myself near fully emerged from the swamp with only my feet in the shallows of the banks of the quagmire, however I am still covered in mud, I hope and believe Our Lady is about to wash me.
Dear Mario This is my prayer. At times it is a lonely road which seems to be desolate, especially as I see many graces activated and fulfilled in others. However Our Dear Lady travelled this way before me and she saw only pain and rejection at near every turn. One of the greatest graces I have received over the last few months is the meditation on the solace that Our lady gave Jesus! I often think and meditate on this one fact. Our Lady consoled Our Lord during His passion... Her Presence provided solace to the Blessed Trinity Her Adoration soothed the Heart of God Her Praise negated the ridicule God received from blasphemers Her Sorrows alleviated His passion Her Thanksgiving gave encouragement to the Sacred Human will of her Son. Our Lady is much more that our Queen and Mother , she is our wellspring of all heavenly grace Oh Dearest Mother Mary, mankind's consolation to God , hear our prayer. Amen
