Muslims and Christians get along there too. This 4th century church is (or was?) called St Porphyrius and in 2014 Palestinians took refuge there when bombings occured. It was bombed later and I can't remember if it is destroyed or not. There is so much that we don't know about the real reason for events, what if these people are part of the reason for the attacks there?

We know that God always keeps His word, that the Church is the sanctuary, and Jesus sacrificed Himself - the perfect, once for all sacrifice which no heifer slaughtered in a man made temple can equal. We have been living in the Messianic age since Jesus established His kingdom on earth through the Church. I do not sincerely believe that Pope Francis is the antichrist; Saint John warns us that a demonic spirit is incapable of confessing that Jesus came in the flesh. Pope Francis has already confessed the dogma of the incarnation several times through the prayer of the angelus and the holy rosary. I believe that a very subtle way to deconstruct the dogma of the incarnation in the minds of the faithful is if the beast from the abyss comes in the form of a spiritual being and the false prophet says that he is the returned Christ (in a kind of resurrection of the Gnostic heresy and docetist). When the book of Revelation says that the false prophet exercises all the authority of the first beast in his presence, this seems to me to be a demonic imitation of Moses on Mount Sinai, exercising God's authority before the people of Israel, as described in the book of Exodus, although his causing fire to come down from heaven also seems to be an imitation of Elijah on Mount Carmel, against the prophets of Baal.

Pope Francis is most certainly Catholic. Because he doesn't act and speak as we would were we in his position doesn't give us the right to make spurious allegations against him. I'm beginning to understand his aversion to a certain "traditionalist" mindset of Catholics in countries where Protestantism has been the predominant culture for centuries. It is not "Protestantism" to judge a person's statements by the standard of the unchangeable doctrine of the faith found in either the Extraordinary Magisterium or the Ordinary and Universal Magisterium.
