I would appreciate if you could place my son in your prayers. He is a husband and dad to 4 little girls (ages 5 to 1). He and his wife work hard and are raising these little ones in the faith. Every Sunday to Mass and prayers all the time. Well, he is looking at his second layoff in 2 years now. He is the main bread winner in house, but wife also works. (We are the daycare ). My prayer request is to help him ( his name also is Mike) to remain calm. I worry that he will get sick over this. I also pray that God who allows all things uses this to strengthen his faith and trust. And I need to take that advice too! And while I would be so happy if God helps by putting a job before him or preserving him in this one, I really pray that Mike stays healthy - physically, emotionally and spiritually. Perhaps it’s his (and mine) Job moment. Thank you all. God is Good. Peace
I can feel every word of this. I will pray for Mike. I cannot think for one instant that God will not provide for him. A better job awaits if he is laid off from this one. Your reassurances that you've got his back will help alleviate his anxiety I am sure. "Never was it know that anyone who hoped in Me was disappointed" Isaiah 49.
I will pray. I have had similar situations in my family and everything worked out for the best. All will be well. Believe and remember Jesus said ask and you shall receive.
Prayers for Mike. Sadly layoffs seem to be resurfacing, and it's concerning. I hope he will be blessed with a great job.
I’m praying for the job intentions and for the family. Be of good courage. Last Sunday, I was having a conversation with a deacon. He said. “Turn it over to God’s Providence.”
All will be well. I confirm this. Just this morning, I came across this same quote attributed to Julian of Norwich. I wouldn't normally reassure someone with this as some find it flippant. But perhaps this time, it's a sign.
Prayers this morning and through the weekend to Saint Joseph. There is so much suffering and pain in the World.
Know the feeling .pray to st joseph he will definitely help.he suffered the same.many times he would do work for someone and they would not pay and he would feel so sad comming home to jesus and mary as if he let them down.there is a prayer to him specifically for finding employment
Thank you all. He made it through the end of week… no announcements. I greatly appreciate your prayers for Mike. Please be assured of my prayers for all here.
