There seems to be a lot of images going around of that Charles portrait doubled up, side by side and it looks like the devil.

Russia will be very reluctant to get its fingers burned again. They certainly will not allow a regime sympathetic to the West to rule that part of the Ukraine they do not occupy. Given the reports that are emanating from the frontline, Russia could end up occupying a huge part of the Ukraine.

If the West decides not to capitulate or, more likely, fudge the defeat as having achieved its aim of 'weakening Russia', this will imply a very risky change of strategy. 'Boots on the ground' seems impossible, or at least victory seems hopelessly out of reach, culminating in what would be even greater humiliation. The West's aircraft seem not to be up to the job, hence the reluctance to provide the Ukraine with F-16's and the like, leaving the latter dependent on their own Soviet-era aircraft, which have been wiped out by modern Russian aircraft. That leaves little option for the West but to launch a more or less direct missile war against Russian territory, in the manner of what Cameron called for last week. What could go wrong?

What is your opinion on Eastern medicine, such as acupuncture and reflexology? Although I agree completely with you regarding yoga and similar practices, I'm personally open to there being valid scientific approaches to issues that do not correspond with Western convention. In Ireland, there has always been a tradition of people with back problems going to what we know as 'bonesetters', who have a handed-down gift for manipulating spines for people whom conventional doctors could only offer pain-killers. Anecdotally, these people seem to have helped quite a lot of sufferers, although there seems to have been no question of the occult with them. Homeopathy is another controversial field. I'm a veterinarian and know well some practitioners of veterinary homeopathy, themselves also vets. I'm personally sceptical, but my colleagues claim considerable success with it. I know them to be honest and honourable and there is certainly no question of occultic involvement. Perhaps there are scientifically sound alternative approaches to health problems?

Comedy has a great way of leveling matters... This fella captures sublimely how ridiculous it all was...

    Closest, for now...
But like they do -- they introduce these things progressively. And it creeps in. Gaining ever more of a foothold as it develops. Then it becomes a part of everyday life. Until one day people accept, without much fuss, the actual mark itself.
    That's coming.
And people just don't care. And they move on with things.
Like I heard it said that if Jesus came today like he did 2000 years ago; people wouldn't care enough to crucify him.

My daughter is a physio. I helped her pick that career. I'm happy with it.
I wanted my son to be a doctor; and he may well have been only covid hit and he didn't keep up with his studies. I'm delighted with that. I think doctors today - and moreso in the future, are and will be further compelled into euthanising people.
I thank God for keeping him out of that carry-on.

A few years ago, when I was still studying, I and another colleague talked to a distinguished orthopedist during a lecture. Even then, he told us about his experiences, he says he thought it was nonsense, a few needles here and there. So when he talked to the patients, he saw that it wasn't really that stupid and he saw that it was helping.

Nikola Tesla is here from my area, he said one interesting thing, and we are talking about a man who discovered probably 70% of the things on which today's modern technology is based. He said that he does not discover anything new, but only finds in nature what God has given us and already created.

Modern science also takes most of it from nature. God in his wisdom did not leave anyone behind, their medicine developed in a different way than ours. Of course, I reject that part about energies, searching for oneself, which is quite integrated with them.
However, when you take the application technique itself without that spiritual sphere, which means inserting those needles, it certainly has a great impact on the blood supply, vascular and nervous system, stimulates hormones, creates mini-inflammations that stimulate regeneration, pressure points are already included in many courses that are recognized as PNF, etc. They still use a lot of those relaxing preparations that they put on the tips of those needles... I would be lying if I said that they have no scientific and medical basis.
Everything that is good was created by God and for the benefit of people.
So when we take these techniques and separate them from their spirituality and they become just medical therapy, then I think they really should be used in the West as one of the ways to help people.
I would say that it must become like the tea that came from India/China and had a spiritual dimension associated with meditation. It is commercialized in our country and is used every day from health to socializing.

Leon Hill's report shows how apathetic so many have become in the West. This legislation seems to have been introduced very quietly.

I console myself slightly by remembering the emphatic rejections by the Irish electorate of our recent referendums. At least there is still some resistance and our politicians are complaining at the reception many canvassers for our upcoming elections are receiving at the doorsteps. Of course, since our most prominent politicians see their citizenry as an enemy to be controlled and undermined, this might only encourage them to attempt further tyranny.

If it has anything to do with chakras, meridians or energy sources, it’s to be avoided like the plague.
Homeopathy was denounced on the forum by BrianK. I’m not sure I can find the link.

I would add that some independent journalists have examined the painting. Here is an interesting and disturbing discovery. If you take two images of the portrait and turn them upside down ( !!!) And look at them in a mirror there is baphomet. Big as life. Coincidence?
