Agreed, I was going to mention this also, but wasn't confident enough to do so. Because it seems like a lot of other genuine modern visionaries don't always speak biblically, or with the poetry style of the bible. But at one time Fr. Rodrigue had, when he said that trump danced on one foot and then the other. The thought just came to me, that this could be something where someone has received genuine messages from God. But then begins to conflate their own thinking with prophecy. I find Pedro Regis can be like this. I also find that people often don't know how to interpret the dreams/visions they are given, so they do it themselves.
The àuthentic spiritual life lies buried in the soil and there it lies hid and dies, brings forth new life as it does so. Beware when men praise you and you become famous with many speaking of your words. Stay in the rich dark Earth of nothingness.
It was a very long video. I simply did not have time to watch the whole thing. Could anyone summarize the main key message we "need to know"?
I didn't watch that one either but another one where he says that the Novena of Peace will not prevent an official declaration of war that will be instigated by France very soon after some sort of event (see video starting 6 minutes). So if this does not happen soon, hopefully everyone will write off his prophecies for good! https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mPru1u24udQ I saw a French comedian, a muslim I think, say the same thing about the president, that he thinks he has a desire to bring on the apocalypse and will push the red button so Fr Rodrigue is not the only one who sees this. If you ask me the powers need a credible leader capable of making that declaration and he could be the one. Let's keep praying for peace.
https://www.motherofallpeoples.com/...gue-s-messages-and-prophecies-from-his-bishop Disallowance of Fr. Michel’s Rodrigue’s Messages and Prophecies From His Bishop An open letter to the faithful of the Diocese of Amos and to all those in search of the truth. Amos, September 3, 2020 Subject: Disallowance of Father Michel Rodrigue's messages and prophecies Brothers and sisters, Father Michel Rodrigue arrived in the Diocese of Amos on August 1, 2011. We had met before, in May 2011, a month after I became Bishop of Amos. He had explained to me his plan to found, in our diocese, the Apostolic Fraternity of Saint Benedict Joseph Labre. It would have three branches and would be dedicated to the new evangelization in the hope of giving more life to small parishes. I welcomed it with confidence and hope. During the first five years, he was pastor of the two parishes of Amos and was also responsible for the formation and accompaniment of the members of the Fraternity: young men to become priests, female consecrated women and couples. At that time, we had frequent and very good exchanges. In 2016, at the request of Father Michel Rodrigue, I agreed to release him from the parish priest hood of Amos and entrusted him with three small parishes, including St-Dominique-du-Rosaire where the Fraternity had already bought land. From the beginning, in order to have a Sunday free and despite the distance to be covered, Father Rodrigue organized the programming of Sunday masses, on the same Sunday, for his three parishes. This allowed him to have about ten consecutive days to dedicate himself to the formation of the members of the Fraternity and to other activities, such as parish retreats and others. Beginning in 2017, on several occasions, Father Rodrigue went to the United States to preach retreats; in 2019, the frequency became greater. On March 25, 2020, while we were on a Covid-19 break, the Countdown to the Kingdom website posted eight lectures given in California by Father Michel Rodrigue in November 2019. He is presented as the “Apostle of the End Times” and an official exorcist of the Church. I would like to make it clear that he was never appointed official exorcist of the Diocese of Amos. In the presentation of Father Michel Rodrigue, on the aforementioned website, appeared this state ment: “Fr. Michel Rodrigue receives the full support of his bishop, and all of his locutions and visions are submitted to his local ordinary for approval”. Indignant and shocked, I wrote this to Father Rodrigue on April 21, 2020: I am extremely shocked and I feel betrayed by these remarks, since I never approved of them. I therefore ask you to correct this falsehood on the aforementioned site. I also want to be informed how and when this will be done. I want to make it clear that I absolutely disagree with the prophecies of you on the aforementioned site (Ex. Warning, days of dark ness, Era of peace, punishment, World War III (nuclear war in 2020), construction of shel ters, etc.). This is what I intend to answer to the people who have asked me. As I requested, corrections have been made on the aforementioned site. Unfortunately, the false statement is still present in Christine Watkins's book, The Warning. Testimonies and Prophecies of the Illumination of Consciousness (pages 278 and 280). Today, September 3, 2020, more than four months later, I am making this statement public because I see that anguish is rising among many people who share Father Rodrigue's messages and proph ecies. My Vicar General, Father Raymond Martel, devotes a lot of time to responding to e-mails from the four corners of the world, as well as phone calls from worried people. To this total disavowal of Father Michel Rodrigue's messages and prophecies, I add that I with draw my support and that of the Diocese of Amos from the Studium Saint-Joseph, founded in 2015 by Fathers Michel Rodrigue and Simon Dufour. This Studium, of which Father Rodrigue is the rector, had as its goal to give theological training in Abitibi, a region far from the major centers. Finally, I would like to inform you that, since June 30, 2020, Father Michel Rodrigue's residence on our territory has become his only link with the Diocese of Amos. He has renounced his pastoral charge as pastor of the three parishes that I had entrusted to him. He also renounced his member ship in the Presbyteral Council and the College of consultors. He also retired as an active priest in the diocese. He remains an incardinated priest in the Diocese of Hearst-Moosonee, Ontario. At this time, postal mail is our only means of communication with him. This is the light that must be shed to remove doubts and questions about the position of the Bishop of the Diocese of Amos and to warn fragile Christians. I invite you to reread the words of Jesus, quoted by Saint Luke: "Take heed that you not be deceived” (Lk 21:8; cf. Mt 24:4ff and Mk 13:32). Let us abandon ourselves to the divine Mercy of our God, from whom all comfort comes. May the Holy Spirit drive away from us all sickly fears and anxieties. May this prayer to Mary sustain and reassure us: “Under the shelter of your mercy, we take refuge, Holy Mother of God. Do not despise our prayers when we are in the trial, but from all dangers always deliver us, glorious and blessed Virgin." Trust and peace to all! + Gilles Lemay Bishop of Amos
In the early nineties I had a dear friend, an elderly Carmelite brother I met in southern New Jersey while I was going to podiatry school and living nearby. He was both wise and very well grounded in all aspects of historical and modern Catholic prophecy. He always said to ignore any modern prophecy that was wildly popular and well known/ well received. He said true modern prophecy would always be more quiet, more humble, more hidden, less well known. It’s certainly not written in stone but nonetheless, I’ve always taken that advice very seriously and it’s interesting how “popular” modern “prophets” stand up to that guidance.
I am afraid my sense of things is that the vast majority of Catholic commentators know very, very little about Mystical Theology and Discernment of Phenomena and that even fewer have ever cracked open a single solitary book on the subject. That are, as it were, flying by the seat of their pants. I include the clergy in this. The entire extent of their Discernment appears to be, 'If it feels good to me it must be good'. 'If it feels good to me it must be good', just won't cut it.
In regard to private revelation, and as many members of this Board have previously advised, it is best to seek what the Church has to offer us on the subject as written in Numbers 66 through 67 of the Catechism of the Catholic Church. Catechism of the Catholic Church - IntraText (vatican.va) III. Christ Jesus -- "Mediator and Fullness of All Revelation"25 "There will be no further Revelation 66 "The Christian economy, therefore, since it is the new and definitive Covenant, will never pass away; and no new public revelation is to be expected before the glorious manifestation of our Lord Jesus Christ."28 Yet even if Revelation is already complete, it has not been made completely explicit; it remains for Christian faith gradually to grasp its full significance over the course of the centuries. 67 Throughout the ages, there have been so-called "private" revelations, some of which have been recognized by the authority of the Church. They do not belong, however, to the deposit of faith. It is not their role to improve or complete Christ's definitive Revelation, but to help live more fully by it in a certain period of history. Guided by the Magisterium of the Church, the sensus fidelium knows how to discern and welcome in these revelations whatever constitutes an authentic call of Christ or his saints to the Church. Christian faith cannot accept "revelations" that claim to surpass or correct the Revelation of which Christ is the fulfilment, as is the case in certain non-Christian religions and also in certain recent sects which base themselves on such "revelations". These paragraphs are very comforting to me.
Fr Michel has gotten so many things wrong but because of xavier ayhral people keep coming back under the explanation of "prophecy always being conditional" , which is very convenient.
What else can they say? It is the only back door they have. That God changed His mind. That He only half meant it in the first place. Blame God if I got it wrong . Don't blame me.
I will say this, I watched the whole 3 and half hours of the podcast and I was impressed by Fr Michelle truthful teachings of previous Marian apparitions, they were of God and were edifying! But that is what they were. "Teachings" of the truths of previous church approved apparitions . There was nil prophetic insights. He gave beautiful teachings in remaining close to Jesus and Mary and on how much God is offended by the current sins of the world. There is nothing wrong in these teachings of truth. I believe Fr Michelle has a zeal to enlighten the faithful but in his zeal he resorted to interpreting his own mystical experiences as a way to gather the faithful, by this maneuver it has placed him in a precarious position. In his enthusiasm for God's truth, he recalls that on the 15th of June 2024 our Lady looked like she was dissolved of all hope and then states that God the Holy Spirit was not joyful and not full of life because He was distressed due to Our Lady's pain. This does not sound like Catholic teaching. Because God the Holy Spirit does not nor can ever change from His Life giving joy filled being. Fr Michele also present contradicting phenomena in my opinion. 1) Fr Michele endorses the Garabandal messages yet he disagrees with the 4 girls statement that there will not be another world war. His explanation is that there has not been enough prayer therefore WWIII is imminent. 2) When explaining his failed prophecy of Benedict XVI assignation he states that prayer had prevented this! To me it seems very convenient that prophecy can be so easily manipulated, by invoking our love of prayer I know Prayer is powerful and can change history and circumstance but it is always humble and wrought with sacrifice, I abhor placing prayer on the unholy pedestal of nonchalant superstition. Just my thoughts
Fr. Michele Rodrigue used to have a website all about himself where he talked about himself in the 3rd person and told his long, rambling life history. It was absolutely full of supposed encounters with the demonic, to a very unhealthy degree, as if it was exciting to talk about how much he was being hounded by demons. He also told wild stories of sneaking around in the Vatican, slipping past the Swiss Guards and having a secret run-in with JPII. All of his stories were fantastical and loaded with hubris. That, plus the extreme fascination with the demonic, made me feel he was under demonic influence. Well, and the one talk I watched of him on YouTube years ago also filled me with a strong sense of the demonic. He was talking about how parents shouldn't try to control their kids and should let them be their own person (in the context of the Faith). I wasn't super impressed with his rambling on and on about this, but when I saw him refer to parents' attempts to spiritually influence their kids by mimicking a hanging of himself...I saw the demonic in him. It was in his face and the grotesque way he kept fake hanging himself. This was many years ago, before he even had false prophesies. I won't even attempt to watch him or listen to his words.
Yes I picked up on his description of Our Lasd as being distraught , but Our Blessed Lady does not do distraught He also described the Holy Spirit as seeming like a flat plane. The Holy Spirit does not do flat plane
Prayers for the poor man False prophesies are very, very serious sins indeed, especially from a priest . Poor, poor man. Saying a rosary for him now
This is very interesting PF. And very troubling. Exceedingly troubling. As Padraig says we must pray for the poor man. But should not in any way listen to him.
I think that’s a possibility. But I’m also confused on how he knew the pandemic was coming, as well as, know that Pope Benedict was going to die before the end of the year? Can the devil provide that kind of information?
The devils do not know the future. However they are super, super intelligent and can estimate possibilities of future events in a way that dwarfs the abilities even of Great Intelligence Agencies with the use of super computers. So in that sense they can have a very good idea of things that are coming down. In the case of Covid they would have known about it very well since it was the Children of the Devil that caused it in the first place.
