    Viva Cristo Rey - Christ is King. We owe allegiance to Christ not to the state with these pernicious laws.

    I think we all need to start preparing for fines and imprisonment.

    He supported the position of the mystics and Church Fathers, who interpreted world history in the context of the seven days of creation, considering each day to represent a thousand years of history.

    And that every 2,000 years a major purification occurred, as in the time of Noah.

    The last major purification happened when Jesus died on the Cross, which meant our redemption.

    And he said that in 2031, 6,000 years of creation will have been completed, and it would be the end of the sixth day on which God created man.

    And then would come the seventh day, the day of rest, which is the era of peace.

    And why did he speak of the year 2031 as the 2,000th anniversary of Jesus’ death and not 2033?

    Because he followed the Church Fathers such as Eusebius of Caesarea, Irenaeus of Lyon, and Tertullian, who, based on the dates given in the Bible for the reign of Augustus and Caesar Tiberius, maintained that Jesus had been born two years earlier.

    Today there is consensus that there was indeed an error in the calculation of Dionysius Exiguus when he fixed the year of Jesus’ birth.

    He also argued that the history of the Church develops in 500-year cycles.

    I have always felt he was right. 500 year cycles fit. The Arian heresy in the 4th/5th century. The great schism in 1000. The Protestant revolt in 1517. Now we are in Modernism/the Enlightenment--an outgrowth of the Protestant heresies coming at this point to a greivous end. Makes sense.

    Ring Out, Wild Bells
    [IMG]By Alfred Tennyson

    Ring out, wild bells, to the wild sky,
    The flying cloud, the frosty light:
    The year is dying in the night;
    Ring out, wild bells, and let him die.

    Ring out the old, ring in the new,
    Ring, happy bells, across the snow:
    The year is going, let him go;
    Ring out the false, ring in the true.

    Ring out the grief that saps the mind
    For those that here we see no more;
    Ring out the feud of rich and poor,
    Ring in redress to all mankind.

    Ring out a slowly dying cause,
    And ancient forms of party strife;
    Ring in the nobler modes of life,
    With sweeter manners, purer laws.

    Ring out the want, the care, the sin,
    The faithless coldness of the times;
    Ring out, ring out my mournful rhymes
    But ring the fuller minstrel in.

    Ring out false pride in place and blood,
    The civic slander and the spite;
    Ring in the love of truth and right,
    Ring in the common love of good.

    Ring out old shapes of foul disease;
    Ring out the narrowing lust of gold;
    Ring out the thousand wars of old,
    Ring in the thousand years of peace.

    Ring in the valiant man and free,
    The larger heart, the kindlier hand;
    Ring out the darkness of the land,
    Ring in the Christ that is to be.

    "There shall yet come a violent hurricane. Iniquity is at an end, sin shall cease, and before two full moons shall have shone in the month of flowers, the rainbow of peace shall appear on earth ... Throughout the world a sun so bright shall shine as never seen since the flames of the Cenacle until today, nor shall it be seen again until the end of time."

    When is the next Blue Moon?
    The next blue moon can be a matter of complexity due to the existence of two definitions. These definitions, stemming from historical and modern interpretations, offer two unique perspectives on what constitutes a blue moon. The modern or monthly definition, perhaps more popular in today's culture, identifies a blue moon as the occurrence of two full moons within a single calendar month, a rare celestial phenomenon. This can be seen on the blue moon calendar below. The traditional or seasonal definition designates the third full moon in a season containing four full moons as a blue moon, arising from the misalignment of lunar cycles with calendar months. This version of the blue moon occurs much less frequently making it a truely rare event. The next seasonal blue moon can be found on the historical blue moon calendar.

    What is a Blue Moon?
    The modern day definition of a Blue Moon is when there are 2 Full Moons in one month. A Full Moon occurs roughly every 29.5 days and on the rare occasion when the Full Moon falls at the very beginning of a month there is a good chance a Blue Moon will occur at the end of the month. According to this definition the next Blue Moon will occur on January 31, 2018.
