"The River Rhine will overflow with corpses and blood". Makes sense, because France and Germany, along with the UK, have been the most bloodthirsty in advocating for strikes on the Russian homeland.

A revolution in Italy might be quite plausible. It could be a revolution of the Muslims. Alternatively, it could indicate a reactionary response from those many citizens who oppose the liberal policies of EU administrations. As the epicentre of such conflicts would likely be centred in Rome, it is unsurprising that the pope might suffer, but the prophecy does not foretell in what way he might, nor at whose hands. Does anyone here see it as undeserved that the current Vatican would be on the receiving end of some of the prophesied chastisement? Would it be unjust?

The strange thing, as Megyn Kelly pointed out, is that nobody is talking about it. As at the time of Noah's Flood, everybody, myself included, is just going about his own business. It's not as if the human race can't be induced to panic (COVID anyone?), but have we become so over-challenged with fear and abomination that we have become immune, much like those who ignored the boy who cried wolf when it really mattered?

Wars always originate from human weakness and wickedness. However, the prophecies of Fatima directly mention Russia as the instrument of punishment. This is evident even in the controversial 1957 interview with Sister Lucia, which many consider to be her “literal last” interview. In it, the prophetic role of the communist nation is mentioned once again.

I believe that when a nation does not repent, the sins of successive generations accumulate, attracting a just divine punishment proportional to its transgressions. In the case of Russia, not only was it the first country to legalize abortion, but it currently holds, according to data from the United Nations, the highest number of abortions per woman of childbearing age (15 to 44 years) in the world. Approximately 1.3 million abortions are performed annually (in absolute numbers), which equates to 53.7 abortions per 1,000 women.

Last year, President Putin had a unique opportunity when the Orthodox Church appealed to him for a total ban on abortion in the country. However, he rejected this proposal, claiming it would increase maternal mortality. In Russia’s case, the punishment for this will be its role as the very instrument of punishment for the world.

I believe the relationship between Russia, the West, and Israel is analogous to the conflict between the Antichrist and the Great Babylon in the Book of Revelation. You do not need to view one side as good or less evil simply because its enemy represents an opposition to Christian values.

There is a video of a conference by Suzanne Pearson at the Fatima Center where she talks about a secret weapon based on a form of energy called "scalar energy." She claims that the source of this information is Father Malachi Martin. Of course, believing this would require us to revisit the dogmas of modern physics in some way.

We have always had wars, but things seem to be on a whole different level when certain people seem hell-bent, a term I use advisedly, on provoking a war of annihilation.

I agree, Putin's excuse for refusing to outlaw abortion is a monstrous non-sequitor; even if there were any truth in it, the number of potential possible maternal deaths would be infinitesimal in comparison with 1.3 million certain deaths per annum. The rate in the United States or the rest of the West might not be as high, but it is not from the want of trying by the promoters of abortion and is only held back by what remains of Christian, more particularly Catholic, tradition. Also, in fairness, Putin does not see it as his mission to spread it, often coercively (through linking it to much-needed financial aid), around the world.

Finally, if events end in nuclear conflagration, the ultimate responsibility will not lie, in my opinion, with Russia. That would, however, have to be tried in a Higher Court.

If it's true, it could imply that there might be no-one left to do the revisiting.

Anyway, JFK once opined to Nikita Krushchev that the US had the power to destroy the world several times over; the laconic Krushchev responded that Russia could destroy the world once and that was sufficient.

Armageddon 'don't need no scalar energy'!

As I read today somewhere on an Orthodox website, the "patriotic Christ" in the name of which Russia kills Christians in the neighboring country actually has characteristics that bring him much closer to the antichrist of the book of Revelation than to the True Christ. From our Catholic point of view, this approach takes on even more meaning because we see the Putinist regime, with the blessing of the schismatic ROC, violently eradicating the true Church of Christ from the occupied areas in Ukraine.

Many people believe that the Antichrist will only come after the era of peace. However, there could be a partial fulfillment of this with Babylon serving as a center of power in the West and the Antichrist coordinating the Western bloc. A possible prophetic scenario of the clash between the beast with ten horns and the great prostitute could involve the 10 full member countries of BRICS uniting in a global response to the Dollar, leading to the economic collapse of Western nations and, consequently, various civil wars.

Saint John Bosco referred to Paris as the "great prostitute" and also prophesied its destruction by fire, which could be caused by an enraged population losing its basic rights. Nevertheless, this partial fulfillment of Revelation might symbolize a mystical body representing the enemies of the Church described in the book, as the Antichrist himself will claim descent from King David to fulfill the prophecies about the Jewish Messiah.

Now that I’ve realized the mistake, :D:DI meant to say that the Antichrist could represent the anti-Western bloc, and Babylon could symbolize a center of Western power. The Great Babylon could be Paris, represented by the Goddess of Reason from the French Revolution.

Jezebel died after being thrown from the window of her palace, and her body was devoured by dogs. The act of the queen's downfall could have a prophetic parallel in the eventual end of the world's dependence on the dollar. As for the scene of the dogs devouring her, it resembles the fate of the great harlot, whose flesh is devoured by the ten kings.
    Revelation 17:16
16 The beast and the ten horns you saw will hate the prostitute. They will bring her to ruin and leave her naked; they will eat her flesh and burn her with fire.

That's intriguing, because there are Church-approved prophecies that the Russians will strike Paris with what seems a nuclear device in their withdrawal from France in the face of the new French King. Seems unlikely, but is it as unlikely as it was?

As Saint John said, "many antichrists have come" (1 John 2:18), and I would say really many in our time. But the Antichrist we are referring to, I believe will come in a time of total chaos in the World and he will come up with practical solutions for this chaos to solve the problems of desperate people. I don't think that this can take place in the current moment in which atheist woke governments and the evil CRINKs are competing for domination of the international order.

There will be no nuclear attacks, and no war between Russia and the West except through proxy countries, which ends up happening for decades...

At the moment, the Russians are not even 0.001% of my problem. The political elite in the West, which for a long time has not served the people, but banking cartels and various lobbies, is a far bigger problem for me, because in addition to the worsening of the conflict with Russia, where they would gladly send us as cannon fodder, we have the imposition of gender ideology in schools, decadence and perversion at every step, the deliberate replacement of the population and the destruction of the identity of peoples who have survived for centuries on the soil of Europe, the seizure of real estate, arable land and other properties through regulations, unjust laws and the grouping of wealth in the hands a few, poisoning through food, water and vaccines that the covid crisis has exposed, abnormally expensive medical services and the dumbing down of the medical profession, which has moved from a moral code of ethics and an individual approach to a culture of death through abortions, euthanasia and the devastation of young people by changing sex.

Not to mention how in the West we have an apostasy of faith and unfortunately increasingly empty Churches, and never a greater addiction to pornography and depression, children who do not know how to pray the Lord's Prayer that their ancestors prayed for centuries, but that is why at the age of 3 they have to decide what gender they will be.. .Parents who never grew up, and should be raising and instilling values that they themselves do not have.

Without war, based only on the difference between births and deaths, Ukraine and Russia lose a million inhabitants annually together....Germany over 300,000 a year, Italy too, China already loses close to 5 million inhabitants a year, Japan a million, the only Western countries that do not the USA, Ireland, France, Canada and Australia , and that's because of mass migrations, although they too will quickly go into the red... We're disappearing, people have never had more, and we've never been more dissatisfied.

Unfortunately, the West, as well as the World, has become old and depraved, and greed has increased along with the neglect of God. There is a saying, it is easy to feed a hungry stomach, but impossible to feed hungry eyes. Today, in the West, we don't have many people with empty stomachs, but we do have a lot of people who are insatiable for wealth, money and power...

I don't think it's a matter of acknowledging a percentage of guilt of Russia in the world's problems or of any particular Christian, but rather of calling what is good "good" and what is evil "evil." Everything you mentioned about the West fits the description of the great Babylon from the Book of Revelation, which will be destroyed by the beast with ten horns.

    REVELATION 18:5-7
5 For her sins have reached unto heaven, and God hath remembered her iniquities.

6 Reward her even as she rewarded you, and double unto her double according to her works: in the cup which she hath filled fill to her double.

7 How much she hath glorified herself, and lived deliciously, so much torment and sorrow give her: for she saith in her heart, I sit a queen, and am no widow, and shall see no sorrow.

We will have peace, true peace.

Too easy to blame Putin, Biden etc. or our Pope and Bushops.

Our sins, as the most favored sons and daughters of our loving Father, are the most painful for Christ to bear.

Sin is the cause of all disorder and suffering.

    Forgive me Lord!

The Paris Commune of 1871 was a precursor to the communist revolution in Russia in 1917. The error of France made its way to Russia, and Russia spread its errors across the world. Perhaps the final confrontation between them will lead to its conversion.

I understand its popular these days to blame the US and Europe for the conflict in Russia/Ukraine, and i am givng them no pass. But lets not pretend that Russia is the good guy here, far from it. Lets not forget this quote by Blessed Aiello -
"Russia, spurred on by Satan, will seek to dominate the whole world"
