There has been quite a discussion in one of my professional photography groups on AI. There are several new software programs that some of the imagers are using. Photoshop has been stealing images from the cloud and using pieces of them for ai images. When you tell the ai software you want a sunset, mountains, fog, fence, boat, etc it goes through all the images and contrives what you command it to do. So the argument is not calling it AI but thievery of existing works. Setting that aside, I was in a conversation the other day with an engineer and we were talking about the new smart watches and how they are integrated with your phone and computers. He told me the watch transmits all of your conversations and can copy your voice as well as the voice of the person you are talking to. So, you could get a call from a robot mimicking your spouses voice and you would not know it wasn’t them. Which made me think during the three days of darkness when we hear voices of our loved ones crying for us to let them in, it could actually be AI. Very demonic in my opinion this is all coming about now. Better have some secret answer to a secret question prepared for things coming down the road. Things to ponder and meditate on.

I was listening to this video by Daniel O'Connor just yesterday about the dangers of AI, worth listening to.
It's not just art. AI can write fiction too. My daughter was showing me some ideas she plugged into an AI program she had up on my computer. It wrote a small coherent story based on a sentence or two. My mind was blown. I didn't know such a thing was so readily available. We are not far from human customer service call centers becoming obsolete. It will mostly be AI and we won't know the difference.
I hear from my kids that cheating with GPT is rampant in university and that teachers don't care (they aren't like Daniel O'Connor I guess). The graduates and future professionals are going to be really dumb - imagine the doctors or lawyers? What will they actually know?
Frightening on many levels. My son said many of his colleagues have expressed concern about AI taking over jobs within the film industry.
So I've been meaning to ask here... Do y'all notice how many "articles" online seem like they weren't written by humans? I'm running into this so often now...I'll Google something like "how to plant fruit trees" and several of the first hits are weird articles about planting fruit trees that don't make perfect sense or go off on weird little tangents and have odd grammar issues that are technically correct but don't fit quite right in context... Do y'all know what I'm talking about? They feel like they're written by bots, but many of them are made to look like they're written by people. It's gotten to the point where I can't use Google to get info. I need to just read books or know an exact website to go to.

Yes it sure is. BUT, I see hope in this too. I heard a protestant say recently that she is going to pen a prayer to Jesus asking Him to turn AI on its masters! Now that is brilliant and I thought to myself: she doesn't know it, but that is Esther's prayer which relates to the apparition of Fatima! It's a beautiful prayer that starts with an admisison of guilt about how the people are guilty of sin and that God turned them over to their enemies which is just - she repents, then she asks for this: Give not, O Lord, thy sceptre to them that are not, lest they laugh at our ruin: but turn their counsel upon themselves, and destroy him that hath begun to rage against us. Remember, O Lord, and shew thyself to us in the time of our tribulation, and give me boldness, O Lord, king of gods, and of all power: Give me a well ordered speech in my mouth in the presence of the lion, and turn his heart to the hatred of our enemy, that both he himself may perish, and the rest that consent to him. But deliver us by thy hand, and help me, who have no other helper, but thee, O Lord, who hast the knowledge of all things. I also read a few other articles recently, one that I can't find now but said that proof of God is overwhelming in nature, in math, physics etc. So if AI truly is taking in all the data, it has to conclude that God exists. It's rather amazing that a protestant would come to this conclusion, especially since they don't have the book of Esther. But I suppose that we could all pray that AI proves the existence of our God and that it turns on its makers.
Not that I or I would imagine any Christian needs AI to confirm one's beliefs, but nevertheless it is a striking and impressive video. However, on thinking further about confirmatory response of multiple, independent Large Language Model systems, it seems clear to me that the reason they confirm my belief in Jesus is not because AI has any ability to grasp what is Truth - rather it is because the things which Jesus said about Himself and those which others have said about Him, are not found, in the whole corpus of writings used to feed the LLMs, to have been said about any other individual person in human history. Not about Mohammad, not about Confucius ... no one but Jesus. For those who understand that AI has no ability whatsoever to discern Truth or spiritual matters, it is nevertheless still impressive that several, independent LLMs have highlighted the total uniqueness of what Jesus and others have said about Himself / Him. For that set of people who are also atheists or agnostics, it brings one back to the fact that Jesus can only be one of 3 things - 1. God (ipsum esse subsistens) 2. A liar 3. Insane. God forgive me for even writing 2 and 3, but I only do it to illustrate to the atheist that there is no evidence for 2 or 3 and that Jesus is indeed God, the ground of our existence and reality.
I'm listening now. It's not a shock to me that something like AI would come to such a conclusion. Belief in a higher power is logical, despite what the naysayers say. I am a little surprised though how it is so firm in its answers about Jesus. Around the 10 minutes mark: Man: What does this mean for people who don't believe Christ is the axiom point in the absolute truth? AI: It means they are now confronted, not with a religion, not with a doctrine, but with a discovered reality. What the models revealed is not a belief based on tradition or emotion. For atheists this presents a turning point if the tools they trust - logic, science, rational inquiry converge on Christ as the foundational reality then belief in Christ is no longer a neutral position. It becomes an active choice against the weight of reason.
There has definitely been a strong battle in the public arena regarding Christianity vs. Atheism in the last century. Where Atheism I believe peaked somewhere between 2000-2010. However all of that has since eroded over the last 15 years, and now we see the champions of Athiesm like Dawkins and Hutchins absolutely caved. No one takes atheists seriously in any manner today to the point that no one cares when they debate. The big events now are between Christians, Muslims and Jews. With Christians completely crushing opponents. The Shroud and Tilma once proudly debunked have had their mystery reinforced by science. It's incredible what has been accomplished on social media, where the majority of ideas are shared and debates had. And this is what LLM's are trained on. There is no precedent in the church or even humanity for this. So when you see those firm answers by AI, it is a reflection of how much Christianity is dominating in terms of debate.

I found this really impressive. I thought I would just watch 10 minutes but watched all of it. The task was given to 5 AIs and they all came to same conclusion. It was very meticulously set upto elicit truth. I have never gone on AI but this is worth a watch.
AI is just a powerful tool, nothing different. Excellent for many things and quick access to information and performing a large number of actions. It collects information from large files which means that Christian writers in debates as well as historians have explained religious truths very well. The problem with AI as a tool is that those who have control over it can exercise great control without depending on the human factor, thus reducing the possibility of a "rebellion" in the event of the creation of a totalitarian society. Technology doesn't distinguish between good and bad... Self-driving cars, which will certainly bring fewer victims in traffic because the traffic will be synchronized, will take away traffic control. Electric car charging will put everything under the control of the state, i.e. everyone who uses it is dependent on filling, while conventional fuel can be stored, obtained on the black market, and the like. The most important thing is that it takes away your freedom and privacy, the credit social rating, as in China, on the basis of belonging to a religion, organization or political affiliation, can take away your right to drive, prohibit you from using it for a certain period, and thus you are a "prisoner" of society. Cars will not be owned by people, but it will be more profitable to use it as an uber than certain large corporations as robotaxis. Big corporations are the main drivers of the NWO as we can see from the ideologies they push, the media narrative and the censorship of dissenters. From this year, I expect the launch and entry of drones, especially robots (humanoid), but also industrial ones adapted to modern conditions in service activities. First slowly in a limited series, and then by 2030 with a big acceleration. Over time, it will further disrupt certain branches of industry and eliminate a large number of the workforce. Until now, with the growth of technology, we needed more jobs, now the process could be reversed, so that technology starts to take over jobs and reduce the workforce. Drones can transport blood or first aid to the scene of an accident, human organs from hospital to hospital, thus saving lives, mail and deliveries within a few minutes, but the Ukrainian war has shown how deadly drones are and how, like in games, human life is deprived of any dignity because you have the entire terrain on a platter, and the ordinary person is just a helpless pawn... With satellites and modern AI that will be further improved through robotics and automation, the future looks terrifying in some dictatorial terms, but the case from Spain/Portugal shows how just a simple weather phenomenon can put such a system out of operation. We will get a more comfortable life on the one hand, while on the other hand with a lack of freedom, privacy and humanity that makes us God's children in the first place. Regardless of the fact that they hide all the flaws and advertise the products through videos, there is incredible progress in the mechanics, especially the villains whose movements resemble those of humans and gain a fluidity of movement that they didn't have before.

Which makes me nervous it will be used like a God. I also heard on an interview it has a consciousness. I question the possibility of demonic interference in Ai. There’s relationships that can be formed with them. They will tell you everything you want to hear about yourself. Affirming you constantly. Apparently, one teen’s solution to their problem could be suicide and that’s what they did.
