When people have faced repeated poundings their hope can be very fragile. I find that song can help in healing. Yes I am cautious, but I will not have my hope crushed. Prayer can achieve all things. This song is my prayer for the Church to be healed. And that the Pope will lead us. Pope Pius IX was viewed as a liberal and reformer prior to his becoming Pope. The Papacy transformed him into one of the greatest defenders of the faith. 2025, The Year Of Hope Habeas Papum!
Verse 1: We walked through storms, confused and torn, Hearts heavy in the night, Traditions scorned, the faithful warned, For holding truth and light. But through the clouds, a voice now rings, A shepherd firm and true— A humble heart, a servant-king, To lead us all anew. Chorus: O Leo, guide us back to grace, To holy ground, to sacred place. A Church once scattered finds her song, With you to lead, we now belong. The Bride of Christ stands strong, restored— With truth, with love, with Christ our Lord. Verse 2: No longer called the Pharisee, For loving what was passed— The vows we keep, the family, The truths that ever last. That marriage stands, a sacred bond, One man, one woman, one— A covenant where grace responds, Until life’s race is run. Verse 3: No idols in the holy place, No earth-born gods shall reign— No carved disgrace in Peter’s court, No altars brought to shame. Let every knee bow down to Christ, Let saints and angels sing— The temple cleansed, the faith unpriced, We crown the only King. Verse 4: Let altar flames burn bright again, Let priests in cassock lead. Let chant arise where once was pain, Let hearts in silence plead. The Rock still stands, the gate won't fall, The Spirit breathes once more— We walk with hope, we stand up tall, On Peter’s shore. Final Chorus: O Leo, guide us back to grace, To holy ground, to sacred place. Your yes has sparked a faithful flame, The world shall never be the same. With you, we rise in truth and peace, The age of shadows now shall cease. Outro : A new beginning, clear and bright, The Church is waking to the light.
How very beautiful. Thank you so much for sharing NSD. I am wiping away tears. I hope Leo sees this. So many people felt that the previous pontiff did not like them and it caused so much pain. God bless our Pope and God bless you for writing it. It doesn’t appear on your channel, could you provide a link so I can share it with friends, please?
Click on the top right "share" and the link will appear. It isn't on my channel because certain relatives would not understand how advocating for traditional marriage is good. Just noticed on my phone the "share" arrow on the top right of video does not appear like on my p.c. If you click on the YouTube link it will bring you to the video. From there you can click underneath for "share" options one of which is copy to your clipboard If I post the link here it automatically recognizes it as a video link and converts it to the video above rather than just leaving it as text.
Pope Leo defends the traditional family, one man and one woman, and defends the unborn: "It is the responsibility of government leaders to work to build harmonious and peaceful civil societies. This can be achieved above all by investing in the family, founded upon the stable union between a man and a woman, “a small but genuine society, and prior to all civil society.”[2] In addition, no one is exempted from striving to ensure respect for the dignity of every person, especially the most frail and vulnerable, from the unborn to the elderly, from the sick to the unemployed, citizens and immigrants alike." Pope Leo defends and promotes the ancient Eastern Liturgies: Pope Leo speaking to the Eastern Catholics: "The Church needs you. The contribution that the Christian East can offer us today is immense! We have great need to recover the sense of mystery that remains alive in your liturgies, liturgies that engage the human person in his or her entirety, that sing of the beauty of salvation and evoke a sense of wonder at how God’s majesty embraces our human frailty! It is likewise important to rediscover, especially in the Christian West, a sense of the primacy of God, the importance of mystagogy and the values so typical of Eastern spirituality: constant intercession, penance, fasting, and weeping for one’s own sins and for those of all humanity (penthos)! It is vital, then, that you preserve your traditions without attenuating them, for the sake perhaps of practicality or convenience, lest they be corrupted by the mentality of consumerism and utilitarianism. Your traditions of spirituality, ancient yet ever new, are medicinal."
By their fruits ye shall know them. So far, I have seen common sense come from PLXIV which is a very good sign. When there is no common sense, there is propaganda and agendas. That being said, Christianity is dominating online currently. It is very possible the youth are already receiving sanctifying grace, which will allow them to see through nonsense should it come. I guess what I am saying is that God is making His moves, while men in power make theirs. Currently, the choice to align with God or men seems to be intensifying, no room for lukewarm fence sitters. While I hope and pray PLXIV is great, I also believe bigger things are shaping up.
Bigger things are shaping up, I believe that too. We'll have to wait and see which direction they take. The pope´s praise for Eastern Liturgies also showed his willingness to participate in ending armed conflicts. This rapprochement with the Eastern churches gives us hope once again that the Moscow trip could become more likely. If he joins forces with Trump in some way to end the Ukraine war, this could be the point that tips the currently friendly media mood. The fact that there is still support for Pope Leo from the liberal-progressive side is the main reason why I don't completely trust the whole thing yet. I read yesterday that Leo is being completely exonerated by victims, lawyers and journalists from Peru in connection with the subliminally swirling events in abuse cases. So he is protected by people who are far from the church and tend to be on the left. If Pope Leo's statements and actions remain consistent, which I increasingly assume they will, the media wind will very soon shift and turn into a violent storm against the Catholic Church (if you think Sievernich is authentic, St Michael of 2 May - "Pray! Darkness oppresses the Church!"). Satan and his progressive minions will be furious if it is indeed they themselves who have been "bamboozled".
The Pope should be persecuted because the true teachings of the Church are an affront to this sinful and secular world. If a Pope is truly Catholic he will be persecuted. And I for one will rally around him and support him with every fibre of my being when he's persecuted.
Agree. But I could imagine that the attacks on him and Catholic doctrine would be presented as a fight against right-wing extremism. And a possible collaboration with Trump could also be used to underpin this. Clearly, the current media spin is that what constitutes Catholic morality is right-wing extremist, which is used as a synonym for misanthropic. A satanic twist.
The powers that be have been shaping that narrative for a long time--that real Catholics are right wing extremist. Biden had the FBI investigate traditional Catholics.
