I do believe though, that when you take the action of searching for Jesus and the Blessed Mother, you do this as an act of love. Through that act of love and sacrifice, you can find them. I will never put God or our dear Mother in a box...whatever God allows will happen. Where 2 or more are gathered....
This is very interesting. I was not aware of that. Wikipedia cites his religion as "New Age", which speaks for itself. The more I look into Medjugorje, the more the entire thing seems like a cult to me. At first, it is all niceties and shining eyes, but when one asks questions or raises doubts, nasty reactions can sometimes be the result. I could be wrong, of course. In any case, I will continue my approach to stick with the Church-approved apparitions, where the seers are definetly for real and have suffered greatly, such as the Marto-children of Fatima, Sr. Agnes Sasagawa of Akita, St. Bernadette of Lourdes, etc. I therefore lean on the messages of Fatima, Akita, and on the healing power of Lourdes. Medjugorje, and also this thread, I plan to mostly ignore. However, I wish all here on this forum immense blessings and all the best. I will stay active, but perhaps not in relation to Medjugorje. I have received numerous graces and physical healing from my trips to Medjugorje over approx 27 years. I also had experiences there with Our Lady through prayer in Adoration. I could possibly have had those experiences at home but never did. Is she appearing there? I don't know. Does it matter? At this stage I'm not sure. I think the faith of pilgrims going there has developed into a grace filled experience and a powerhouse of prayer, resulting in conversions, vocations, healings etc.
Although when you see Mirjana having an apparition and hear the demonic screaming around her, and to realise the tremendous suffering she has outside of the apparition, but which disappears during it, it's difficult to call it a fake.
To my knowledge, the seers were never impure in their lives. Yes, there were the priests who lived dishonorably, according to what I’ve read, if truthful. Edit
Yes, I've been there and heard the demons' reaction of terror when Mary was appearing to Mirjana. The birds also become perfectly quiet until the apparition is over.
