There are three places the rosary is perfect for and that is on Train or plane or Boat Journeys. It makes time go past so quickly. Perfect.
That's when we don't have any problems...When we have a problem, especially a health problem or one that concerns our family, then the rosary flies by, and you feel like you can pray a few more without any problems. At least that's the case with me.
The distractions are like flies buzzing around a cake. That’s what St Louis de Montfort called them, . You still have the cake, imho I kind of weave the distraction into my prayer.
Have you listened to Journey Deeper? Her voice is so angelic & she plays beautiful music while she recites the Rosary.
Do y'all see drones in the sky at night? I'm way out in the country with plenty of open fields so I can see the night sky very well. We have stars so thick we can see the Milky Way stretching over our house. Last night I was outside looking at the stars and I saw a bright one near the moon. But as I watched it, it was flashing in a strange way, not usual star twinkling, flashing red and green and maybe blue, and then I realized it was actually moving from left to right ever so slightly, back and forth, like a hovering object. It stayed in that position for a long time, and I kept wondering if my eyes were playing tricks on me, but I texted my sister who lives 45 minutes away and she saw the same thing. My husband also saw it moving. I laid my head on a pole to be absolutely sure it wasn't me moving, and the "star" definitely was going back and forth and occasionally slightly up or down. When I went back outside 40 minutes later, it was gone. So we also were looking all over the sky, and I could see the obvious satellites and space junk that look like a star moving steadily in one direction across the sky, but then there were other objects, many of them to the west, that were moving erratically and some of them flashing those colors. They would move in one direction, then change directions and go somewhere else, or stop moving entirely, or start rising straight up...and some of them would suddenly vanish before our very eyes. It was pretty unsettling. This happened the whole time we were outside watching the sky. I spent some time online looking for answers and learned that there are drones that operate night and day, monitoring weather and engaging in weather "modification." Now I'm wondering if that's what they were. And it sheds some interesting light on a dream I had a few months ago where there were drones flying through the sky and I had a sense of dread, followed by terrible weather and flooding. I had no idea at that time that drones were used to manipulate weather. Anyway, it's unnerving to see so many of these objects moving around or hovering in the sky at night.
While researching weather-modification drones, I found that the company Rainmaker (the one that was doing cloud-seeding here in TX before the terrible floods that washed away children at Camp Mystic) calls their weather-modifying drone "Elijah." That is so horrible, like a mockery of God. Elijah brought rain back to the stricken Israelites because they had repented of their sins and returned to God...and he did so by praying for several days on Mt. Carmel. The rain began its return with a single foot-shaped cloud representing the Virgin Mary rising up out of the sea. The fact that these people know they're playing God is becoming more and more obvious. They think we don't need God anymore. Why would we need to pray for rain when we have Elijah the drone?
Your post reminded me of this book I read many years ago! I think a good time to re-read. And motivates me to read the sequel which i never got around to
God is teaching you and your family. That is a great grace. You are located there for a reason. I love that you see so many stars and can see the Milky Way. I haven’t seen that since I was a child here in Maryland.
Yes, we are very blessed. It was quite the journey getting out here, and still is, in some ways, but I'm so grateful every single day for the fresh air and rolling hills and stars, and love to watch my kids play on their land. They each have a hobbit cloak and lately they've been going on many hobbit journeys.
I think this question is a mystery. As I gather from prophecies and apparitions, there will be a massive catastrophe that leads to people weaking up. After that, pretty much everybody will be a Christian. God bless all here!
I feel for you, as I am in a similar spot with my parents. The delusions, I think, come from the evil one. God allows this to happen to people who want nothing to do with Him. But He does not delude people, the evil one does. Many highly intelligent and educated people accepted the Covid-vaccinations. I think some of them were spiritually deluded.
Antipope in Rome - Pope Francis? Political chaos in the West - beginning to happen now? Muslim invasion of Europe - already happening, invited by our local governments? American adventurism in the Far East and Russian invasion of Europe - not yet happened. Looks like we are "on track", so to speak.
Oh my goodness, there's been another shooting in Michigan at a LDS church. Prayers for the deceased. https://www.9news.com.au/world/mich...nd-blanc/e13e1966-ad9a-40fb-92c5-72e63ceaadbe
I read today in ZeroHedge that Bill Maher the US television host has made a great effort to publicise another ongoing, but media-ignored, genocide, that of the Christians of Nigeria. God bless him for that.
If I may slightly shift the topic – although, if we consider that the human body is the temple of the Holy Spirit, then this discussion is still very much relevant. Recently, our media started publishing articles about how the Prime Minister and former President have lost weight… They appear somewhat anorexic, and all of that in just two months. I’ve noticed quite a few people going through similar transformations. Normally, I wouldn’t pay much attention to this topic, but there’s been a lot of talk about the diabetes drug Ozempic and similar medications... I’m glad for those people who genuinely need this medication – for diabetics or those who are severely obese and whose health is truly at risk. After all, obesity isn’t always the result of overeating, but can stem from other health conditions. However, purely from a religious and moral standpoint, this drug – and its misuse by many – feels like a kind of cheat code. Essentially, the sin of gluttony is no longer 'punished' on a physical level by the natural consequence of gaining weight. I understand we live in fast times – unhealthy food is everywhere, healthy food is expensive, and working out takes a lot of time. But I can’t help feeling that, as a society, we’re cheating natural processes and, in a way, some kind of justice. We want to have both pleasures – that of food and of appearance. I would even draw a parallel with the idea of indulgences/confessions that many people in the Middle Ages wanted to obtain by simply giving money. Of course, it doesn’t work that way with God – but the principle is the same. I give money, I’m ‘forgiven’, and I continue with the sin. It’s much harder to truly avoid evil deeds and sin, to change one’s life, to fast, to pray the Rosary, etc. One is self-deception and deception of God – the other is true reconciliation and repentance. What is your stance on that?
